Check the oil should be a good colour with no shavings etc, auto box should change smoothly and go in to all gears with no issues, apart from that i'd say look at the buyers guide for general things to look out for or if you're concerned take someone with you from the forum if you can

Sounds like you've got a Dual Split intake and say two apexi cone's i'm guessing under the nose panel ? more beneficial with other supporting mods but rest assured you're getting enough air lol
