  3. gutted for you m8:( be very very surprised if the insurance DON'T write it off as its classed as major damage being every panel bought a few cars with less damage from insurers, ie keyed cars and yours is gonna need major prep and paint:(
  4. no m8 in those circumstances it won't arm itself, otherwise it could lock the keys in the car, USUALLY the only time it will arm itself is if your stood chatting press the fob to unlock the car, then if you don't then open the door within a certain time it will lock itself again (this is also handy if someone presses the fob in the house by accident then if you don't then open the door it will lock again) that way the alarm knows the door hasn't been opened so if you did open the door and put the keys on the seat, it WOULDN'T then lock itself i think its a preference thing to whether the central locking is added in most alarms are, sometimes if you get a faulty sensor on the central locking it can then effect the alarm
  5. the simple explanation for cat 1 (i hope) you get out arm your car and its locked and immobilised if the door is then opened without the fob the car won't start, and you have to press another button to remove the immobiliser or if you stop the car get out and don't arm the car then again it won't start until you first press the button to switch off the immobiliser not sure if that was what you were after?

  17. been on ebay for most of the day m8 and not had one error, not been looking for porn though
  18. still cheaper than getting dragged off the motorway by a recovery wagon m8 although price ChrisC was quoted don't sound to clever:( i had the blow out on the M6 and as i said the first guy had to get another low loader, so cost me £90 to go about 40 miles if it happened in the zx no way would i drive 40 miles with a polo mint on the axle, so would prefer to pay the fee rather than the possible damage been in the AA for years and that was first blow out so hopefully................
  19. yep same happened to me Iain when i bought her soop i had a blow out on the way back and when i first told them i didn't have a spare they said i would have to pay so i said ok just get me home, then i found the space saver BUT because it had a bodykit and was to low for their equipment i was still gonna have to pay for it being modified, BUT lol the other rear tyre was barely legal so they are not allowed to fit spares to allow you to run on illegal tyres, so i got them to transport me home and bought 4 new tyres they still had to get another wagon that went flat onto the road to get it on so you have to be careful over tyres and mods :(
