  2. http://www.hmgpaint.com/knowledge-base/blistering-the-causes-and-prevention
  3. Nope can occur anytime, with the right conditions
  4. No it is possibly micro blistering caused either by excessive moisture (at time if painting ) or solvent pop, reckon its moisture related. Look up micro blistering in google.
  5. Vodafone charge me £5 for every 250mb over my allowance
  6. I regularly use up my 500 mb allowance, im going over to 3 when my contract it up
  7. Im going to do or pay zed world to do a boost leak check for me, when i get the z back from the painters.
  8. Knew it was a load of shit, stu your a lifer lol
  9. My first car, a y reg 1.0 vw p p polo. In red ( orange as it was shitty) more filler then metal and worked on the engine every week in my ownership. Got me well prepaired for owning a z lol. I would never own another polo ever again!!!!
  10. Yup stillen type 3 na bumper skirt
  11. the reason why i said it was my old alarm had a courtesy light feed wire to turn the light on when you opened the car with the fob
  12. i take it you have isolated any alarm feed to the light?
  13. ah ha!! right so -19inhg = -9.33psi so only when the pressure becomes positive it shows in psi!! ffs could they make it any more confusing lol so a blitz controller you set it up in a boost percentage ratio if set up to read psi in vacuum it shows vac pressure in inhg and boost pressure in psi
  14. im yet to test it under boost as i only plumbed it in today to check vacuum at idle to compare against the other two readings. it just seems odd that the boost gauge is reading approx -4 psi higher at vacuum which would equate to a 4 psi lower reading under boost compared to the other gauge. which would mean 9psi on the stock gauge would read 5ish psi on the boost controller which seems to make sense. im going to double check the pipe that leads to the controller ecu, there has to be a leak there some where......
  15. the controller has a t piece as standard to plumb it in, and i have checked and it is set to psi. i will take some more pics.
  16. what i dont get tho is that its still taking the reading via the balance bar, its all linked up to the plenum. im not dismissing the idea but the way i see it if they T into the same line and were effecting each other the stock gauge would be reading low too wouldn't it??
  17. yes as per the installation diagrams its t'd off the boost sensor for the stock gauge. i tried to eliminate that by blanking off the pipe that leads to it. no change on the boost controller :(
  18. the boost controller takes the reading direct from the balance bar the same as wiring in a boost guage so i have checked the line that runs from the balance bar to the boost controller but cannot find any leaks :(
  19. right i have my suspicions about the accuracy of the boost controller. i check by using a mechanical boost gauge, stock boost gauge and the controller itself. under boost the boost controller max's out at 5.6 psi the stock gauge goes up to where 9 psi should be...... this is really starting to piss me off as i dont know what to believe!
  20. niiice! got a plan for my z , might be a bit marmite for some but its very similar to http://i1051.photobucket.com/albums/s435/nezzi21/slammedz325_zps6459cf7b.jpg
  21. i will give it another go
  22. It used to work fine on my old z, but its really odd it doesnt want to read it on this one!
  23. Why would i not be reading a duty cycle???
  24. Hi i have plugged in my datascan tonight and have two problems, 1 is that its not reading any duty cycle and 2 i have no reading from the left o2 sensor and the right one barely moves
