  7. thanks jimmy also forgot to add that i bought the link arms and tension rods to try and elimate this problem. will have a look on the rest next weekend if i can. again thanks for your help

RIGHT DOESNT DO IT ALL THE TIME. definitely front sounds upper side of the suspension. does it over pot holes and speed bumps cannot replicate at standstill eg bouncing each corner. seems like its where the wheel gets pushed backwards by the bump /pothole. mots dont pick up any faults with the suspension ( movement in bushes etc. ) had wheels off and looked but cant see anything substantially wrong!

  15. the thing is my shocks seem fine. pushing down on each corner of the car they return to rest without any bounce! might have to whip them out and have a look tho just to be on the safe side.

  17. right im thinking my clunk may possibly be these rubbers. now are there any aftermarket alternatives for these or is there just the nissan jobbies?

  19. i personally like the original spoiler and i replaced my old foam one with a fibre glass replica. i presonally dont like the 99 spec. but each to there own.

  21. I HAD THIS ONLY LAST WEEK! mine turned out to be a fubar alternator. which wasnt charging enough . charged battery car started. went back to it 3 hours later battery dead. replaced alternator now it works as it should.
  22. it has one on already thanks tho :) Coming to the same conclusion , will sort a new earth point and let ya'll know tomorrow. cheers gaz :)
  23. in time with engine speed. the new alternator i got had a supressor on it to which i thought would be good but through my amplified speakers i get a alternator whine! went out and bought a ground loop isolator and i still have the noise. seperated the power and speaker cable and still there!! im at my wits end and need to stop this whine! help btw i have a tt alternator on an na car but i doubt it would make bugger all difference
