  1. no i meant the other type of corrosion. a blinged bonnet would be cool just high maintenance. and lacquer would peel very quickly with the heat

  10. hi im in bournemouth too. now theres a garage i trust with my car for its mot . they are very reasonable and explain what and if anything needs looking at and i trust them not to rag my car up the carridgeway!! the garage is AUTOCARE in parkstone. bh12 4nd. say you got recommended by gary with the black 300 as i have mine done there every year.
  11. i have a fidenza flywheel on mine and i can say it does rev more freely. the comparison video was a non turbo too :)

  17. you havent bent the clutch fork have you? was it a heavy clutch? how does it feel now light/spongy? does it still bite or does it now slip
  18. you can get cam rattle this is due to the camshaft springs becoming weak. there is one in each of the two top camshafts behind the end caps. can you do a video clip of the noise as its bloody hard to diagnose a noise problem from a description.!! there could be many factors that could give you a rattle/knocking. but somebody with more experience will be along shortly i would imagine.

  21. right it looks as if my clutch slave cylinder is going as im loosing a little fluid. now i already have a braided clutch line waiting to go on when i replace the slave, my question is the bleed nipple in the engine bay, does it get removed when you replace the old lines with the braided one. so i can clean up the engine bay a bit??
