  4. hey guys! if im running; t28 hybrid tubs,Greddy i/c,s apexi boost controller etc etc are 555 injectors ample for the job? if so is an nismo adjustable regulator and uprated damper the way to go? not planning at the mo to go for fuel controller! thanks guys!

HEY GUYS! just fitting hid units to headlight, can anyone help? this kit was bought with many of you guys from x-seroega (bloke selling them on e-bay from germany i think! bout 6 months ago, anyone remember?? if so on the wiring to the bulb holder there is block connector with 3 wires and 1 wire with spade connector, where does this wire go??? ??? ??? is it to the metal ring on holder? any help gratefully recieved! steven :confused:
  9. just been testing car to solve left bank running rich fault! with my diagnostic tools tried to get volt wave from lambda,s but cant get readings from either side??? just read fault codes and is loggong 34 ( det sensor) can these faults be logged?
  10. how does an o2 sensor stick then??? i thought it was a solid state unit!!!!!!! :slap: is an o/e sensor best or are they stupid money??
  11. hey guys just got z back from mot station, it failed on emmissions is there any upgraded sensors on the market or cant you get any better than standard! ive heard about wide band sensors but what is the advantage of these????? any help gratefully recieved! steven
  12. turns out its both sides!!! managed to get to o/s and replaced with braided hose which was specially supplyed, but still leaks. not as much but still there!!!! n/s is only leaking small amount but any oil is too much as far as red hot tubs are concerned!! do you think taking inlet plenum off will help??? its an excuss to fit 555 injectors!!!! will have to pop down to meet next time thanks guys!!

    take spark plugs out and put small amount of oil in all cylinders! this will lubricate bores and stop corrosion/siezing
  14. hi matz! whats the ujcc?? THER ARE A FEW Z'S IN THE AREA BUT MOST ARE PRETTY POOR CODITION FROM WHAT IVE SEEN!! MINES BEEN OFF ROAD FOR 3 MONTHS JUST GOT IT FINISHED THIS WEEK! IF UVE SEEN IT U WOULD REMEMBER IT, BLACK WITH CHROME RIMS AND DIRECTED GRAPHICS, REG IS 300 BAD. ;) if you need any tech help or want to meet to talk z's im happy to help mate!
  15. just been out in just finished z! now have boost gauge and avcr controller, why are the readings different between the 2! havent given it any stick yet! but when gauge reads 10psi, controller and dash read around -1 to 1mg/kg3 any ideas why this is?? controller conected to o/s of balance bar and gauge to n/s vac pipe outlet in funny nut looking union! any help gratefully recieved!!!!!!
  16. yes i think nismo is the way to go especially if they fit straight on! tis a 92 jap spec tt so do i need early type injectors? any one do some good deals on these???? please! john d can you supply suitable chip ffor 555's have already 3 chips off you for standard injectors( havent even fitted them yet!!!! thanks for info guys! :dance:
  17. hey guys! just done hybid tubs etc. and think i need to go for a set of 555 injectors! any particular makes better than others? to fit them what is involved? eg injector seat mods, wiring mod etc etc once the manifold is off will they fit straight in??? :bow: cheers guys
  18. im already running divorse wastgate down pipes so looks like i need to go for 555 next! are they a straight fit or do injector seats etc have to be modified??
  19. great looking manifold! is that chromed or polished? get youre self a thread gauge works like a feeler gauge put it up against thread and find one that fits exactly then that will tell you thread type, i e 0.75mm, 1.0mm or 1.25mm these are the most commen!!!
  20. all brakes should really be bed in over about 100 miles allowing gradual harder braking! from my experience i fit brake pads every other day to peoples cars and in the long run this seems to give a better brake!! still yet to fit my copperfield pads !!!
  21. just fitted stage 2/3 hybrid t25/28 i got from smithy! apparently t28 turbines in t25 housings! so should be bl--dy quick off the mark. running Greddy coolers etc but on standard injectors. i cant decide what psi to run either! we'll have to compile an table for future reference once were all dicided!!!
  22. hey guys just given car first proper drive since having engine out to fit t28 hybrid tubs, when i noticed smoke from bonnet, ive taken off intake hose to find oil feed pipe union at tub is leaking!!!! any ideas of how to cure???????????
  23. been trying to read ecu codes! can you check them only once? i lost count then did it again and it read 55 all clear also with the screw on ecu which position should it be left in? as it was mid way when i found it!!!

CAN YOU GUYS HELP WITH THIS ONE PLEASE? :mad: :rolleyes: just running up after engine out! when i start from cold it only idles about 900rpm after few minutes suddenly stalls and wont restart! take spark plugs out to find all 6 are vary wet with fuel, dry them out and it starts but then intermittantly does it again?????? also sometimes on warm up rpm fluctuates between 1000 and 400 rpm!! who do i manually extract fault codes?? cheers guys steven
