Selling a Modified Z
I'd break mine before I would wait 6 months to sell, saying that mines orange and may only appeal to certain people.

how to tighten belts?
I also need to do this very urgently on my transit, its noisey enough as it is,:D
-
how to tighten belts?
Its the fan belt thats normally the culprit, loosen the pivot bolt on the alternator, then loosen the locking nut on the long threaded bolt. Turn cockwise or anti clockwise to tighten or loosen the belt (which ever way round it is), this will then pully the alternator away from the engine thus tightening the belt. When happy tighten up the locking nut and the alternator pivot bolt. My rule is when checking a belt if you hold it between thumb and finger at the center of the longest space you can only just rotate belt 90 degrees. This is the method for most cars will check my 300 later if no-one else gets back :)

Is Sky HD really worth the extra?
Makes you want to watch any old shite just for the quality :D No seriously, I think its worth it and more channels will come out. Just to mention the ovbious, if you record a HD channel it takes up more space on your harddrive.

Running oil temp?
If you look at the oil filter its on whats called a sandwich plate. The sandwich plate screws into where the filter should go and the the filter onto the sandwich plate. The plate has holes in it to accomodate different sensors, oils pressure and oil temperature. Thats where most people put em, and Its where I have mine. Sorry I just assumed from the start thats where yours was.

spares or repair £3800 or break it
Entirely your choice bud? how much m.o.t. left, and do you think it will give you any more 5hit after the repair the x member. p.s. how much you want for the teins and wheels if you do break, lol

Running oil temp?
See if you can permanently put some ducting over a third of it and encourage the air somewhere else (rad or gearbox...) Now't wrong with driving it softly, probally why I'm still on original tubs and engine after 15years, 95,000 miles, touch wood!

Running oil temp?
Have you tried contacting Markzx and seeing if he remembers anything strange about the temps?

Running oil temp?
My oil temp gauge used to read around 70'c after 10mins driving and would'nt budge, although I don't drive hard. I had to move my number plate recently cos I was pulled over for it being too small, so a standard size one is now in the middle of my wings west bumper mesh and my oil temp sits just above 100'c now IIRC after about 7-8 mins of driving. Sounds like you have good efficent cooling, (my pipes could be all gunged up for all I know?) I would guess at around 95'c for a normal car driven enthuastically (4500rpm changes) ?

What PC COD4 Servers do you play in.
I used to play too much on the pc version, but although It's miles better on PC than consoles I find its full of idiots using aimbots and wall hacks and it kind of ruined it for me. Random servers, hardcore and normal but the servers had to be populated at 40+ players
