  1. When I originally looked at mine there were a few problems with it very tiny nit picking ones. I did'nt really want it but has just travelled about 120 miles, and took me months to find a uk manual with leather. It was up in the trader for £5,500 so I said don't take offence bud I'll offer you 4,800..... he paused for a few minutes then said 4,850! Alright then, drove it home lol edit.......was in november 2003
  2. wikipedia states - An automobile, motor car or car is a wheeled motor vehicle used for transporting passengers, which also carries its own engine or motor. so if you take the wheels off or engine out will it be ok? I can see loopholes with this one...............
  3. Noticed my oil pressure gauge started working again this week.............not worked in about 2 years? not touched anything
  4. Cheers guys, I forgot to mention I did a bit of a typo when entering my personal info when I joined here 5 years ago, I put 76 instead of 86 :slap::D. lol
  5. Has the ps3 got a 'normalise' option I think every manufacturer calls it something different? but this makes the sound range a lot narrower. Press the Triangle button with a dvd playing and see whats there, I can't say Ive noticed myself but I ain't been looking.
  6. Don't think your gonna get the bargain your after, the bottom link had over 4000 views so they draw a fair bit of interest, and its been sold, top one looks ok for an easier repair and 2k less.
  7. the water pump is behind there, along with the thermostat, if you search for water pump or cambelt change you will have the info you need bud, as that job should be part of the cambelt change.
  8. Will check all bulb connectors later well at least at back. The pads dont have a wear sensor on them mine are all almost new anyway, don't think the shoes would have? but I have changed the rear drums anyway.
  9. Cheers Jeff going to look into this, I went to look at the manual yesterday after your post and because I formatted PC at weekend I never reinstalled adobe reader, getting around to later on, cheers
  10. I cleaned up the connector on the bottom of the reservoir and it was full of thick white yoghurt stuff, managed to get all out eventually but still the same :( but noticed that when the connector is off all works fine so now I'm thinking it maybe the internal level sensor?
  11. Gearbox oil is thicker, and stinks worse, get a bit inbetween your finger and thumb and rub it, then do again with a bit of the end of dipstick and compare.
  12. Many thanks with your posts this morning Jeff, I thought of the timer myself yesterday when on the road so turned it off and fault still there. Will have a look at all connections to all the fluid levels later cheers
  13. Cheers bud got round to this last night and didn't work, still the same :( bump :D
  14. Told myself I was gonna fix this over 5 1/2 years ago but never got round to it and .......... still not done it. :wack: saw on another thread recently that the fault is most probally the white timer unit that is on the same bracket as the fuel pump relay near the fast pedal, I replaced this last night and still the same, stops in middle of screen in random places, anyone any idea's :D
  15. The unit just intercepts the coilpack command from the ecu. Doubt it would do any harm I think it would be the same as traction control. I think its just to stop you driving like a loony, I can't tell what the buttons on the controller are? (maybe browser). The advert doesn't really give a clear indication as for what it doe's except that you can program a limiter in i.e. if you peak torque or bhp is 5500rpm then it should be set to misfire soon after that to stop you revving to 7000 and shagging the engine up.:nono: Save up and look at racelogic traction control with launch control as that should interest you more :) TBH it just looks like something for car park antics.
  16. I am really on about is overall, I played cod4 on ps3 for about 3.5 days which was ok apart from the odd kill cam 'eh?'. cod 4 on pc was a joke it was head shot after head shot although played for about the same as ps3, the servers I went on all had a ping of below 60 I made sure of that. I played cod 5 very little although I bought both for pc and ps3 didnt play cod 5 on pc at all on multiplayer. Not played cod for a while now been busy with other stuff............. M.A.G. is out soon hopefully though :D Also drakes 2 ect :)
  17. My connections fine, people I know talk about this all the time, its the reason I stopped playing them, the kill cam makes you out to be a liar every time! Also every server has a cheat on the PC which just ruins it totally.
  18. Or try link this........... http://www.break.com/index/the-ultimate-car-wash.html
  19. memtest86 as above for ram, also the power supply's worth testing, swap with a known good one to test.
  20. Nice one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Gran-Turismo-5-PS3/dp/B002BWONDK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1249365285&sr=8-1
  21. Nope I had a white t-shirt on, lol. I was taking a few pointers though to mention on here, J reg, white rear plate, 99 Spec rear lights............. you had shades on and blond hair, with the t-tops down :)
  22. Saw you today bud, I was crossing the road from the car park to Mcdonalds near southport front when you drove past inbetween 2:30-3
  23. I got a £30 fine for that :mac1: Then I screwed mine to the front grill (similar to yours) and it acted as a wind break for the radiator, so now I have a full size one stuck right on the nose
