Exactly what i thought, i told them i don't have a garage or drive and he asked me if there was anywhere that i could keep it. Didnt know they were happy to have it kept there only part of the time. Better ring my aunt... :dance: Has anyone else had a problem getting a quote from Houghton's i have rang 3 times in a week, each time they took the details and said they would call me back later that day. Each time I have waited two days and rang them back myself to be told they can't find any details on the computer! :mad:

Do you have overdrive on or off? you'd never go fast enough at WOT in a 1/4 mile to use overdrive so answer: either Do you go for it in Drive, or go through 1 and 2 etc. pass Do you have your power button on? will go into power mode by itself at WOT so answer: either

i dnt know how safety boost works but if it DSNT work by opening the wastegates early then you could be stuck in safety boost

not a good sign, if the vac lines have been disconnected then wastegates will not open you'll get excessive boost and turbo speed, eventually causing premature failure of the turbo

how often do stockplugs need changing? and chris how often do your greddy ones need changing?

air dsnt recirculate in an auto when changing gear as throttle bodies stay open and engine is still burning fuel. air will recirculate when you back off the accelerator though, quicker spool up and prevents surge

air-the recircs put the compressed air that would normally go into the engine back upstream when you lift off

deffo goes to the top of the recirc valve then. no idea y itd be removed but best to put it back on. was passenger side one taken off as well?

picture would help loads mate, i fitted my bovs on saturday and only vac hose i saw was off the top of the recirc valve. there might be some more down there, i honestly dont know but at least thts one for you to check.

dnt no how to do it on th ecu but u can disconnect th battery, step on th break peddle and leav it for half n hour

its a jap box. 'box is in perfect working order, solid smooth gearchanges at the correct shift points. was driven and checked over by duffer before the car was stripped. its done just under 70k miles. had the bigger oil cooler fitted to it since 2000. £350 for the box and torque convertor, must be collected from preston

i just fitted some apexis yesterday and it was simple, took about an hour, replace the stock recircs.
