  1. I know it's not local to you, but I can't recommend the guys as Custom Exotics enough (based in Harlow). I've met a few so called boyshops over the last 2 years but these guys just stand out. They go the extra mile, it's not just about spraying a car, it's about being able to put their name to the work and for me to be happy. They are happy to do a complete job which includes all the small bits that other places I've dealt with paid absolutely no attention to. Please what ever you do, make sure you see the place you take your car to's work, don't just take their word for it or you might end up like me on the verge of selling up cos of the hassle and dissapointment. Vijay
  2. mines a series 2 Uk and doesn't :(
  3. try cleaning the connector of the CAS, that's what mine was when I had your symptoms ;)
  4. but it's a foot long! lol The way I look at any fast food place is it should just be a treat now and again. Only way to eat healthy is to make it yourself.
  5. Do a quick search bud, been a few posts a couple of months back. I posted a link to "Cover systems" who make some good ones to fit a Z, even do them for Z's with high spoilers ;) Vijay
  6. at what point did it not hit anyone that eating a foot long sandwich was not a good idea for your health!! lol We'll be like Americans if we start that ;)
  7. lol, I'm the same mate. I recently starting making my own biodiesel and my middle name is safety :D I was just looking of a real easy way of topping up a spare battery without keeping it plugged into the mains. I've got a cig socket in the boot and the battery would not be able to move about. It'd also be unplugged when I parked up. I'll have to rethink it :)
  8. Thanks Jeff. Should have mentioned it's not in my Z, it'll be in my Mitshi Challenger (Shogun Sport). So in you're opinion there's no safe way to just charge a battery throught the cig lighter while driving the car?
  9. Hi Jeff, Done a quick search and found this - http://wiki.80-90.co.uk/index.php/Camping_Interior_Fitting_a_split_charger I should mention that I don't intend to leave the battery connected to the cig lighter. I need a 12v supply for something else so just wanted to hook it up to charge while I'm driving. Does that make any difference? Also my 4 x 4 already has 2 batteries connected in parallel. Looked at some caravan parts places online and can't see anything like charging splitters :( Vijay
  10. Hi, I just wanted to double check if there's any reason I couldn't charge a battery through a cigerette lighter from my second car while I'm driving? I'm looking at just rigging up a cigerette plug to 2 crocodile clips and have them clipped onto the battery. Would that be ok? Vijay
  11. Would this be of any use? http://www.rinsepimp.co.uk/products.html http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.516032/walk.yah.UKHG~U302

  18. Hi, Just wondered what sort of quality you guys get from films and other things you've downloaded? Also can you connect your pc to a surround sound system and get dobly surround sound from downloaded films? Cheers Vijay
  19. Cheers guys. Installed netmeter and see how I get on. I don't download films at all, just internet, email and a few albums a month
  20. Hi, I had Orange call me tonight offering free broadband and phone calls but the monthly usage is 10GB. Is there anyway I can find out what I'm using a month at the moment? Is there any program that I can use which will keep a tally of my usage? Cheers Vijay
  21. Political correctness gone mad. One of my best friends is a teacher and I can't believe how she gets treated by the kids. She even had a parent of a not so clever child come in and blame her for her child not doing well instead of asking what can be done. Baffles me!
  22. Hello bud, Not yet but soon ;) ....................................
  23. He's got a lovely coat on him! And he looks a lot younger than 4. I've got a real sodt spot for GSD's, to me they're just the perfect dog :) Kassy was spayed after I got her so no nookie for her! lol Don't thinkI'd ever have a puppy anyway, way too many poor GSD's in rescue homes that I'd help out first :( Where abouts in Watford are you? My car was in Watford for most of the last 2 years, North Watford near the BMW dealers :(
  24. That's a very handsome GSD you have there mate, how old is he? You have ponies in your back garden? what do they neighbours say about that??? lol
