Hello bud, That other garage still expect to be paid but their not getting a penny as far as I'm concerned. They didn't want to know about putting it right. Turns out they didn't even use the right basecoat for the pearl paint :( If they want money, they can pay me for all the parts that have overspray on it cos it'll come to more than 4.5K :mad: It got moved to Custom Exotics about 5/6 weeks ago and they've been working on it :)

yeah think I can smile even after 2 years if they've done the sort of job I think they have :)

Cheers guys. Pictures won't be for a few weeks at least cos I have to put things back together once the bodywork guys are done. Really hoping the changes I've made all work once back together ;)

But my car's been painted!! lol Have to say I've not met nicer guys than Scott and Brett at Custom Exotics and thanks to 2 Chris's that sent me their way. I was there Saturday and really happy with the prep work they had done and the fact that they weren't happy with things so re-done them so the job would look right and didn't ask for extra money:bow: Real nice guys and for the first time I was actually excited on getting my Z back :) It's 2 years next week that I've been without my Z but after a chat with Scott today, looks like I should be getting my car back very shortly :dance: Downside is the last garage managed to get overspray all over my suspension, brand spanking new adjustable tension rods and upper arms, disks and callipes, intercoolers and underneath the car :(

Could be the CAS too, did you notice the rev counter going mad at all before it stalled? Mine did exactly what looked like the PTU, would suddenly cut out then start 5 minutes later, thanks to Eric pointing me towards the CAS, cleaned up the connector and problem solved :)
