  1. Just heard this on the radio too, guy from the group saying they want to march with empty coffins through the town. I just don't get why these people have to do things for the sake of it just to hurt and upset people. When I first saw what the people of the town were doing as a mark of respect, it brought a tear as it showed people of all ages showing the families of the fallen that they weren't just another news story and are loved and respected. Why would any group want to tarnish what the people of the town do and simply show disrespect to the friends and families who have to live with losing somone. I really hope the goverment grows some balls and simply tells them it isn't gonna happen and start sticking up for this country!
  2. think they were made by Draper
  3. I'm a member too if anyone needs to go up there
  4. if it is some sort of tar, try the Autoglym stuff doe removing tar spots from paintwork
  5. Agree with the Toad alarm, does exactly what it says on the tin ;) Only thing is look into the installers or wait till you get advice from Paul on a fitter. All alarms I've had fitted were fitted by monkeys (even though they were approved installers) and just used black tape to hold it all together :( Vijay
  6. or even as simple as the door catch needs adjusting in
  7. you can once you have power back to the battery and your alarm works again
  8. so does it make any difference if the engine is revved to simulate driving? And just out of interest, does this apply to diesel vehicles? Vijay
  9. Not doubting you cos you obviosuly know your engines ;) but I've always been mighty confused on this. What difference does it make as isn't your engine doing the same work but if it's not in gear it obviously doesn't transfer the power. The situation I'm in is I cannot drive my car and won't be on the road for another 6 months or so. I'd like to start my car especially in this weather as I've had some condensation and want to get the heaters on in there.................
  10. I assume you have a Clifford?
  11. really not an issue for me anyway, my car hasn't moved since feb! lol
  12. Think I'm right in saying there's a neutral switch on manuals on the gearbox ;)
  13. that was my point, a run down battery wouldn't have enough power to unlock the doors ;)
  14. Cheers Chris :) Why is that though, seems silly that you can't edit a title foe a post you started. Vijay
  15. Is there anyway of editing titles at all? Cheers Vijay
  16. Anyone have any idea how easy it'd be to wire up a remote start on a car? obviously the main alarm would have to be turned off first and then remote started. Vijay
  17. For anyone who's delocked your car, did you run extra wires anywhere for jumpstarting a flat battery? If so what did you use and where did you run it to? Cheers Vijay
  18. The other thing is does he have a good brand of glowplug? I used pattern glowplugs and had problems, was told to use OEM (Mitsi) and started on the button
  19. How old are the glowplugs?
  20. Yep, Dave is right, that's what I meant above ;)
  21. Am I right in saying you can't use energy saving bulbs with dimmer switches?
  22. there's a loom that plugs into the OEM stereo which has a connector for that extra wire (so it's a male to female loom which has an extra connector). Does that make sense?
  23. What wiring do you have? Can you take a picture of the looms and I'll check out my mates ;)
