  2. Morning Nigel, My point about the steering wheel is a visual one. If a thief saw your car with it's engine running, he might still smash your window to get in thinking he could drive your car away but if he saw no steering wheel.......................................... Vijay
  3. how's about getting one of those snap off sterring wheels kits like Iain/Chris C has, then you'll have no problem - you can enjoy your toast knowing they can't drive your car away:) What do the insurance companies say about remote start? I'm sure a few years ago they frowned upon it  Vijay

  9. My mechanic did mine last week (I was sort of helping). We jacked up the gearbox on a trolley jack till it was level and lined up, then I just pushed on the trolley jack while he lined it up, then as Aaron said, we used bolts to pull it together. Vijay
  10. Hi Richard, I might be able to get a working series 1 PTU for £90 or a new series PTU for £150 if you're interested? Vijay
  11. but don't you have to still put the key in for the steering lock:confused: Vijay

  15. Hello Jez, You should be at Billing with a for sale sign. Vijay
  16. Hello Jim, As you may have been told, the stock boost gauge is crap. I know my car is running at 7psi but my gauge shows nearly 12:confused: The only accurate way to know what boost you're at, is to fit an aftermarket boost gauge. I tried to get in the habit of doing an ecu check once a month (1 minute job). Vijay

  18. Hi Fas, Not a chance in hell mate. He's just finished my Z and he's got loads on (he broke his ankle and was out for 6 weeks and is now playing catch up). He's already got another Z coming in. Can you see where the water is coming from? Vijay

  21. If you remove the plastic wheel arch liner on the passenger side, you will see a large grommet going in to the passanger footwell. You can trace it back and it comes up right next to the battery. Vijay
