I think the Cats are going to be a factor for more cars. Am I right in saying then that a cat needs to be fitted even if it built before the previous cut off date? My car was ok to be de-catted on an MOT but now seems it may not be. *****x.

It's standard location for me mate, for my taste the other 2 are too mental. Have you managed to find sandwich plates etc as i have a Mocal to go on but cant find the bits. I want braided lines too, are they standard size items? Cheers mate

I had a problem like this on a car before. Make sure the power cables arent near the speaker cables. I run one down one side of the car and the other on the other side. Might be what Mikey said but my terminology is crap.

I'm not after cheap, just value for money. Final cost is important as this is a second car and I'm not prepared to potentially waste money if there is a better value alternative. I'm lucky I have a number of other uprated parts needed to do the job properly. Either way you look at it the outlay is near the 1500 quid mark before you go near the car with a spanner. Thats a lot of money for a car that only cost 2200 quid.
