Cheers guys, I will attempt to reglue the dash as a temporary measure untill I have a retrim. Won't look great but will look better than having a random bit of metal stuck on the dash!! (I hope :blink:)

Just planning a new alarm install and was wondering which alarms people have and where you have located the LED's & Valet switches etc. as I want to avoid cutting into dash panels if possible. Looking at a Clifford 650 or a classic Toad Ai606, but wondered if Cobra alarms are any good? Also thinking of moving my fog switch when I eventually get the interior retrimmed but where to...? (Its currently on the panel next to the gearstick, below the clock) I understand it has to be visible to pass the MOT

Spent the past couple of days doing the following: -Replacing door lock cams with metal versions -Fitted space connectors to front speaker wiring, as the wires were just twist fitted - wondered why the left speaker was working intermittently when it was last on the road.... -Removed turbo timer -Fitted uprated rear hatch struts -Refitted stereo and ran 3.5mm aux cable to the arm rest storage (Alpine stereo with the rear aux connector) -Connected Nistune and checked basic connectivity with Consult cable & Nistune software ready for base tuning, rolling road session booked for 30th September

Actually, seems the dash vinyl has shrunk and that was maybe holding it in place....

My dashboard was poorly fitted back together by a previous owner. The dash hasn't been fitted under the top windscreen vents properly, and this strange piece of metal was stuck on top....

Anyone know what time the gates open on Sunday? I'll be there but not in the zed...

Nice to meet you there Kyle, looks like I got lucky with the weather for a change on Saturday, I normally choose the ONLY day it rains!! Love the zed, will be perfect once you have the spoiler sorted

Finally got the zed running after being off the road for 2 years!!! New engine fitted last week and finished plumbing etc. today. Strangely enough its started and running fine on the new 550cc injectors with a standard-ish Blitz access map. Need to get in touch with Noel for the Nistune to be fitted and mapped at some point over the next few weeks, then its off to the MOT station!!

Cheers Mark I have a new set of late style injectors ready to go, so would that adapter set I posted above be all I need? Theres also this kit which seems similar but without the connectors https://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=12665 Mine is a JDM 92 so originally had the old style injectors, old upper & lower plenum and old fuel rails

Just getting together a list of parts for the engine swap next month (finally!!!) and am upgrading to new style injectors. I was wondering if these are basically the options I have to get them to fit?- 1) Fit 300 degree rails, machine the upper plenum for one of the injectors to clear 2) Replace fuel rails with late spec, machine lower plenum to fit new style rails 3) Replace lower plenum (and upper if they aren't interchangeable??) and fuel rails, with new style of each Also, what would the following kit achieve? https://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=7731 Cheers guys

Yeah its coming from the rubber grommit. Should have mentioned I had the same issue when I had the tyres fitted two years ago. I believe there is no rubber o-ring there as standard but the tyre place said they can try fitting one but said it might not last that long. Back then I was also unable to find a replacement valve but we were looking more at local options. From what I've seen all the screw together type of valves have some kind of rubber o-ring though? I would like to try and find new valves if possible as got a feeling another o-ring won't last long (the one fitted ended up just sitting between the normal edge on the valve and the wheel, rather than having a groove cut for an o-ring, if that makes any sense)

Cheers buddy, yeah they all either seem to be 45 degree angle and short like those, or 90 degree angle and long. From the end of the valve to where it comes through on the inside of the rim is 5cm, so i need them to be 45 degree and long!! The only info I've found is someone on a Supra forum getting some centre caps. He went through Volk who are (were?) the Advan distributer in the States who sourced them from Japan. If all else fails I may just get a standard valve fitted for now inside the rim, and get all 4 valves replaced when I eventually have the wheels refurbished.

Hi, just starting getting the z ready for the new engine and noticed one of the tyres was flat. Turns out the leak is coming from the valve... Looked everywhere but can't seem to find any the same. Wheels are Advan Siena 2, the valves are a long bolt in valve which are bent at 45 degree.

I agree, also this seems to be a yearly occurrence at exactly the same spot which begs the question... why isn't the event policed?

I got a replica Titanium key from America a while back but haven't been able to find anywhere that will cut it. Does anyone know of a place that will do it? The places I've tried round here all say "we can't do that, it will knacker up out machine!!"
