Hi Richard, yes been a time as zed goes away for winter, good to be back though.

I am thinking of having my black zed resprayed, but I wanted to take off all panels to get at any rust that may be hiding. Is this a daunting job for an amature zed lover?

I realise we have to be careful, and all is not black and white. But there must be a way, legally that we as responsible club members can protect ourselves and others from this sort of bad workmanship. I ask the committee....Is there anyway we can have some sort of rating system for garages on here from members experiences. We do not have to say things about the garage that will lead the club or an individual down a lible path, but we will know what the ratings mean and give us the heads up in the future.?

I lost mine last year cost me about £300 in repairs. I have a manual I hear autos are worse. But fitted traction control from a group buy here on the site, I still take care in the wet, but more confident with car now too.

Thanks, the gredy is mounted inside the car on the dash, nice bit of kit I have been told, fully adjustable, but wasted on a non tech like me I'm afraid

On my car I have a Gredy system, all electric no obvious vacume pipe, do you know how that would have been done by chance

Does anyone have the long thin strip that hides the two screw holes in the consloe just above where the radio slots are please. My clips are broken and blue tack just does not cut it! Ta

Hi, well I thoght my zed was not as fast as it should be?, friend came over at weekend and we did as much testing as we could and the max boost I can record on my greddy in car system is 5psi. He thinks it may be the actuators? I do remember when I bought the car some 4 years ago it had new turbos and a partial rebuild with 555 injectors put in to cope with what I was told was an engine upgrade (no paper work at all on what was done sorry). And I do remember being told that the turbos would need adjusting after 2-300 miles or so to allow the engin to bed in or something. That adjustment has never been made so it may be something to do with that. Any ideas guys please. Thanks Sonic

Mmmmm I have that too on my 94 uk manual. It seems to hunt a bit then go up and settle down. Strange there seems to be a few cars with the same issue, It must be a common fault so hopefully someone can come up with a solution!

I have exactly the same thing............I am not sure either what it is, I have seen the underside of my car a few times but can not for the life of me work out what it is. But it is damn annoying. I do hope it is not a bell housing removal to fix it?

I find it odd, that there is no mention about the engin, we all spend cash there upgrading them in some way. I have seen lists on here that would take an hour to read!
