I was led to believe that the (UK) MODEL IN MANUAL and black were quite rare, running and in good order I mean!

Lol....New front shocks, New steering arm, New steering coupling, New one piece prop shaft, new oil sender, (Now I have oil preasure again....). Boost leaks fixed, Throttle sensors adjusted correctly, and an engine health check. Lovely..................:thumbup:

Well, got my lovely zed back from Jeff, he has done wonders with the car, it is so different to drive, quicker, smoother, feels more planted on the road. It is odd, the way we have our cars for so long and just get used to the way they drive, then after someone like Jeff has tweaked it, and fixed a few little things, it is like a new car... Thank you Jeff, and to all your team.

I want a few small winter projects to do. is the removal and refitting of the plenam reasonably easy to do

Thanks I have them now well 17" all round, I think it more a suspension, cornering thing.

My little zed is nearly 20 years old now, I would like to improve the handling and I guess the suspension is where I should start. I do not want to have the car set up for track days etc as she is my daily run about (Summer only) so where would I best and economically spend my hard earned cash? Thanks.

Thanks Richard, yes that does seem to be the way the sensor is behaving....also I have had some gentle knocking when the car is started, then it seems to fade away, I spoke with Sussex Stu, he has the same thing...this seems common too am I right? B

Yes that is what I think? what causes low oil preasure do you know?

I have for some time had fluctuating oil preasure, I am going to take car on a 4 hour drive tomorrow. Oil preasure on start up is just short of half way on standard gauge, then within 5 minutes it is down near 0 on tickover, then back up to about 1/4 then back near 0, it is all over the place. I have checked oil and all seems fine...........WTF is going on I wonder!!!!!

No worries, I intend to do it again say October, I will keep you informed

Well, what an afternoon, only 4 of us turned up, but what a giggle and some really nice :biggrin:Zeds and a little red FTO helped make us up to 5. Thanks go to Martin, Steve, and Ian. Thanks also to wifey (in red FTO) for taking some nice pics. Good food, good location and fun............brilliant. I see I cannot post pics as my subscription has not been sent....ooops sorry. I know what you mean....that's why I put a little thread up to meet next Saturday in Sussex. There are about 4-5 people on the list so lets hope they can make it. But things do crop up and last minute hitches will always kill the best plans. Yes that may be the answer I have a full greddy system in the car that needs aligning too as it is not set right at all. That too may have something to do with it I think?

Hi, well car running well now except for missfiring on the over run, when I take my foot off the gas I get the banging out the pipes....Not all the time though. I am running 555 injectors at 16.5 psi if that means anything to you boffins out there ....lol.
