lol, as per my previous post, the manta gte was one of my all time faves, had mine in 'barryt' brown, a real light brown metallic, sounds shite, but looked real nice. A mate of mine has a single turbo supra, has 592 rwhp! Is an absolute animal, its lambo orange, with a do-luck kit & wheels, you may have seen it at japfest last year. But, as said before, unless it's bone dry, it justs snakes all over the place, & thats with racelogic tc! Even early morning dew on the roads make it slide! Toyota knew exactly what they had to beat in the z, both the mk4 supra & z were due for release @ similar times, nissan launched the z32 first, mister t then went back to the drawing board to completely redesign the mk4 supra, released some 3-4 yrs later eventually.

Yeah, i know a guy who bought one with a warranty, the engine went tits up, the warranty would only cover up to £2500, the poor guy had to foot the bill for the rest! This was at 'rotechniks' iirc. Saying that, i've spoke to people at various meets and they've said about £2500 for a rebuild all in. Also heard the rear suspension bushes are very expensive to replace.

As before, rx7 will need a rebiuld circa 60k approx £2.5 - 4k depending on where you take it. Nice cars though. GTO, heavey & slow. You won't get a decent supra tt for £5k. S14a would be a good choice, £5k will get a good'un.

Welcome matey :D I presume this guy has imported the car? Whats the auction grade, anything less than 4...walk away. Any history, bimta cert, jap paperwork etc? Does the bodykit hide any accident damage? Check the autobox in slips in & out of overdrive nicely. No 'clutch' slip etc... Do you have a link to the ad for it?
