Isnt there an oil cooler that sits near the diff area that is only on a uk car or is it a cooler for somthing else.is it a rear diff oil cooler

how easy is it to remove the gearbox oil cooler that sits underneath my uk 1990 tt.? assumming thats what it is. my cars at my brother garage having all the brake pipe replace and im going to do a hicas deleation as well so i thought whist im there i might as well get rid of some more unsightly pipe work.

LOVE the rear arches somthing id like to do but left it to late the bonnett is all the rage at the moment with that street race look but got to agree i dis like the blake on the front wimgs stance bang on the money.

youd be made to break her but just incase you do if you do even in our hearts yourll regret it ,if you do can i have dibs on the chiped ecu and the hard pipes

i would poss but am waiting tell after exmas to see weather the 24 le mans trip will still be on

I drove my car yesterday for the first time in nearly seven years. to my brothers mot station. i got two miles down to my local petrol station got out and even the women behind the counter said what a lovely posh car i was driving then before i could drive of some radom bloke got out his phone and was taken pics of my car. now if thats not a super car then what is it. and whats more seven years in the making it felt super to me.

As i understand this you can buy a lock out bar or a eliminator kit i beleave whats the difference and do i need to buy other stuff as well , and do or then can i take of the pipe work as well or do you just cape it off?

when i go and pick up me zed from cold cas i have of at the mo the arch wheel linners ill mark it with a black marker and see were the level is the overfill expansion tank is when i get home watch this space

are we talking bull joints or hycas joints inners and outers here

Quite poss but it looked like the play was comming from there cas the slight movement allowed to move in hicas long unit thing were the rods go into the rubbers

now thinking if i put the flasback bulbs that are white then go amber when indicators are on ,and put them in the front indicators of which you can see clearly from the front. or ill have to mount some day running lights in the front somwere but dont want to spoil the look of the front.

Pending the outcome of the fist thread about hicas. if its knackered then is there a thread on here on just how much pipe work i can get rid of. cas im thinking now if i have to replace brake pipe down my car then i might as well get rid of that as well. anyone got any pics. oh and if it is cream knakered is there a temp fix to lookout before i can save for the lock out bar ect ect.?

in the nearside wheel arch there is a black box which has two ,what look liketwo brake pipes comming out of it .the box is the size of a cigeret box i guess. there is three pipes that come up form the bottom two go into the box and the third goes to the the bulkhead away. What is this please.

Im having a blonde moment. your regs states: Angles of visibility - must be visible 80 degrees outboard and 45 degrees inboard. question from were? so if i am standing directly in front of the car i should see them from a collective 80% angle ie 40 to the left and 40 to the right and inboard i give up?

Dose anyone now what the legal requirment is for a front side light.ie can i use a running day light.does it have to be 5 watt ect ect.

Car went for mot today and mot put down as adviser cas he wasnt sure. I said ill find out.the rear hicas. Should that be solid and have no movement in it when the car is swtched of and rear wheels off ground.or is that the norm and there is a little play with wheels haning? Cheers

whilst in a rush to sort out the rear bulbs after the school run and loosing daylight i think ive blown a fuse. two questions. Is there a seperate fuse for the side / brake lights and is it near the gas pedal or else where, and is there ment to be four brake/side light bulbs in the back or is there just two and the other two are just side?

im confused ive now had a compleate respray so i took of all trim and then replaced it without sticking it down or glueing it and no leaks. i think people stretche it to much in the wromg place then have two much . it takes time and persaverance spelled wrong to get it right .

so me being thick are the 1157 the brake light bulbs cas they dont seem to be . but thats me being tic .so if i put them in there then will the side light come on and then the brake light

just used satin black paint out the tin .now looks like new

can you buy led bulbs for your side lights /brake lights that work in that way with two filiments. oh you know what i mean?
