overfueling
If you reach down to your O/S lamba sensor and follow the wire up until you come to the plug on the loom by the bulkhead. you should see another plug that is Identical only a couple of inches away. simply unplug and swap over. I don't know it you then need to reset you ECU, but it may be worth while anyway. So just undo the battery terminals and leave thom off for about half an hour then reconect and hey presto. If JD is reading this can't you point it out if I'm wrong.

overfueling
check that the O/S lamber sensor is not plugged into the emissions controler as the plugs are the same and none off the wire colouring follows through. I had exactly the same symptoms and JD spotted it and hey presto. The ECU thinks theres not fuel in mixture because its nor actually reading the lamba signal. so it pumps more fuel. + its quite likely you unplugged a few of the wires there to get into the lambas. Hope it is this problem because in 10 seconds its fixed.

Do Manual boxes need a pump for the cooler?
Point is I want to put an after market cooler on so as to make it last a little longer while I abuse the motor FFS. So What I really need to know I suppose is wether I can just used a after market pump or it it is wiser to use the original set up with a slightly bigger cooler.

Ok, so just how unreliable are these cars....
If you get a good example you'll have no problems. I ran mine to 130K miles before she let me down. I did 80K running at 1 bar boost and thrashed her daily. Did 33k miles in first year of owning her and averaged 20k there on after. Over last 2 years being having extensive work done and will be running around 500bhp 400 ish RWHP and expect her to be reliable when I've resolved all my teething problems.

speed cameras
Its mobile units that they are going to faze out, because they are totally in accurate and it has been proven now on many occasion. The government has made millions from their use and sooner or later the news papers will cease to be gagged. If that happens the compensation claims will cost nearly a third of what it costs us to bring in house and keep the next wave of terrorists for a week. + give them free internet access so they can get the bomb making instructions. Now let face it what british government wants to do right by law abiding British Cityzens who have been unjustly treated. When we can bring in more religious Zelots to kill us and destroy stuff making our lives more of a pain. So they won't be installing anymore camera vans.

Clutch & Flywheel. Wot dya think?
Personally I wouldn't go for this type of paddle clutch as the tend to be a bit brutal, all on or off type of thing and lack feel. They are a good flywheel if its genuine.

Holy cr@p!!!
Congratulation. Welcome to the world of Grown ups. Don't worry it only lasts about 18 to 25 years depending on how well you spread the sproggs out. Then you can go back to sleeping properly, having some money in your pocket and to being a boy racer again. Oh yes when noble responsiblity, fatherhood pride and a uncontrolable desire to do the right thing by your children kicks in the toys will go. I've enjoyed being a dad mate and think my kids are sound people whom I actually like.

Time to Get Sorted!!!
Because the bulkhead bung was not put back in properly when the orginal boost controler was fitted back in 2001. So rain weeped in and on to ECU craddle for about 3 years and I didn't know. How ever there is no rust anywhere else inside as I've checked.

Custom Alloy Brake Brace ...
What pads you putting in them. I've got some of Frodo Baggins Competion pads and they take some warming up so I'm looking for something a bit more Fast road with some kind of feel from cold ish. though the boys on the Skyline board are saying the New Ferodo pads really are the muts and work well from cold without leaving nine ton of brake dust all over your wheels

Musicians- what you involved in?
I've been in a few bands. the last band was 16 years ago. We really thought we'd made the big time. got signed to noise records (Hell 'o' Ween were there flag ship band at the time) Cut a couple of single and laid down most of an album. Did session with Tommy Vance, Supported Motorhead and few that made it as big as us. I was the front Man and according to Kerang I was The New David Coverdale and we played Rock Music for grown ups. I know what they ment because my vocal hero was the same man Coverdale emilated also. The Fantastic Paul Rogers. Only problem with this legesy is any time we go to family events etc I'll hear it anounced over the PA that I'm up next singing.

Then you got to get hold of the Alter Bridge CD, "One Day Remains". Its goning to be a Classic album without question. Got to hear about them because my son and his mates went to watch Velvet Revolver (god knows why) while they were in the states on holiday. Anyway Alter Bridge were the support band for the gig and when Revolver came on the crowd were just chanting Alter Bridge all through Velvet Revolver. He bought the CD. I heard it once and did the same.

mileage
I would have had it but my so called New ACT clutch has just gone pop so I've got to spend more than half that figure on a New Exedy Carbon Alloy Twin plate clutch. Had a good call from my mate Chris in France though it was very informative. So sorry two days on and i'm no longer in the market. My missus would go belistick if I had two dead Zeds at once  :nono: :nono: :slap: P.S. is it manual?

Last time I had 12 pints of the black stuff (thats much easier than spelling Guinness :slap:  ) was in Dalkey just outside Dublin. We were staying at the outlaws and their was a freeby on at the Dalkey Island Hotel. Next day my missis wouldn't speek to me. I couldn't understand why? That tea time as I put my suit away i ask my wife, " how the hell did I end up with holes in the knees of my trousers."Wifes reply" because you crawled all the way back up the hill".
