  1. Yep those bonets are only light Ally. I wouldn't want a bird laying on mine either. On the front pasenger seat, Fully reclined with one leg hanging out the window and the other out the targa top   :D I look much better laid under the car shouting "pass me that 18mm socket. Not that one the 18mm" :headvswal Or laid on a sun lounger on a beach in the Med

Mine is correct size, clearly visable + as car was registered before November 1997 the stick on plate is legal, but I still don't stop em trying to do ya.
  3. I can imagine that its impressive. Even mine with with the 555 injectors, bigger turbos and the JD went like fook. Just smoked like the Batmobile with the smoke screan switched on.
  4. Yes Ian, but for what you spent on your Z you could have 2 M12 GTO's   and a Fireblade :D :D
  5. "Jun rebuild"!!!!!!! ££££££££££££££00000000000000000000's and no garentee, so if it goes pop staight away you just own a big box of expensive bits. Get Phil at C & S Woods to build it for you.
  6. http://www.amzperformance.com. $1200 for Piston Rods and Bearings. http://www.z1motorsports.com do a full rebuild kit with complete gasket set etc for $1598, but are reluctant to mark the value down so could cost you about £350 import duty. AMZ marked it down and it only cost £11.

He Carn't write straight though  Had Andy had a few   Well, Ok he can write better than you, but I'd have to see it first before I deside if I''d kiss it or not :slap:
  8. Well as you can see 88mm Wesco pistons, Eagle conrods, NA oil squirters, Toga big end and small end bearings + bronze valve stem guides and then all the stuff that in my rides section that was on my previous engine build.
  9. No its a Coswerth engine which uses the Ford/Jag 3.0 ltr block with all Coswerth internals and is much more powerful, Lighter and will tollerate much higher state of tunning from standard engine and tubs than the VG30DETT would ever do. + To get a Zed to perform like the Noble Would cost much more than the Noble in the first place. The whole consept of trying to compare a Zed with something like a Noble is Barking. The Noble is nimble well balanced and imense power to weight ratio. The 300ZX is a large heavy reasonable handling Grand Tourer with great looks and reasonable performance. Come on get real FFS. AAAAH, the first rant of the day :D :D

  14. About bloody time they started getting ya sorted. Well chuffed for ya, but will you make the knockout stages or do we still have to rely on the Rooney fella. Take care Rich. It'll be jogging time next. :hyper: :hyper:
  15. 10" wouldn't fit in the centre pannel which is where I want to put it. Still no Bumper pics though.
  16. That looks very good, but being a Techno Nub nuts is that just a management system or a hrdware software combo. How much is it? Is it Glitch free yet? will it work on any Laptop with remote touch screan?
  17. I'd love to come and put some miles on the new motor. May be going to Cardiff on Saturday to watch Barnsley get promoted :nana2: :hyper:
  18. Any one know of a good 7" touch screan at a realistic price. To run my laptop from as a car install. Don't want side and pop up type. Want a static mounted. So I can run my itunes, everything on my laptop and a diagnostic program.

  21. A good low milage car that has been well looked after and sevice every 4000 miles will give you years of good service, but they must be seviced and maintained properly and that isn't cheep. Far too many cars out there have been bought as cheep supercars and maintenace and repairs bodged because of the cost involve. If you buy one of those cars you will pay deerly. The 300zx TT is not a cheep super car to run and when they go wrong may cost a grand or 2 to fix, but get a good one and care for it properly and you will be well pleased. If you ask here someone from your area will go and look at Zeds with you. Don't jump at the first one just cos its blinged up.
  22. Whats happening with your Z. Its got to be a major record for longest Dead Z ever. If you don't get it sorted soon mate you be sweeping it off ya drive rather than driving it. Thought it was going to PPS?
  23. I hope its just Boll*cks
