Interior Retrim - DIY?
Having just re done all of mine myself, using a pre cut kit imported from the USA and some alcantara for the vinyl replacements, I can honestly say that if you want it to look as good as possible get it done by someone who knows what they are doing! It will be done quicker, last longer and look better. It took me several months to do mine, including seats, working in the evenings and I still have some bits to finish and some bits to re do. I have learned a lot and made a lot of mistakes and it can be as equally frustrating as it is rewarding. I enjoy this type of creative stuff but be under no illusion it is not an easy job and had my cursing often! A patient DIY job will be better than the worn leather and tweed but never as good as a professional Job in my opinion. Also, having now worked with leather I would also recommend a good quality vinyl for the tweed replacements. Far easer to work with for a DIY job and far more cost effective than leather which will need to be cut and stitched to fit the odd shapes of the Z interior panels and even then is hard to work with. Bottom line, if you can afford a professional do so. I know my steering wheel is going to Mondo next year, no way I am even trying that myself!

Can't remember offsets at the moment but they came off a Z and will check if anyone is interested. £100.00 plus delivery or free collection. This is the style and one I started stripping down a long time ago.

Various bits up for grabs
I have a few bits taking up space that need shifting. Open to fair offers on any of this lot as its been sat in my garage for a while so it may as well get use somewhere else. Please PM me with any interest and your offer so I can keep track of it as I am in the midst of moving house and moving in with the GF = limited space for car parts! I will reply as soon as I can. Bonnet in black, no rust or dents, paint ok but needs some TLC / polishing as a touch 'orange peely' J spec front TT bumper, no splits. Paint is all scuffed up from storage and will need stripping and repaint. Will end up in the TIP in the next two weeks if nobody wants it. J spec clocks with conversion dial and the speed converter gizmo included. worked fine in my car, I swapped it for genuine UK clocks large single exit exhaust- no idea of make and cant see any markings. Pretty chunky bit of kit and I think it's a c. 5" - V loud from memory, took it off a breaker some time ago.

New wheels on the daily car....could look good on the Z
just picked these up for the lexus and was very tempted to stick them on the Z instead but the tyres are a bit meaty for the Z on 19"

Radio replacement compartment
as per title, need the compartment that fits under the radio, ideally after the one that pops out to replace my broken one but will consider just a normal one if it's in decent condition.

Glass replacement - is it worth it?
I feel the dilemma here. I've looked at this several times and having originally owned a UK Z back in 96/97 with the blue tint it is without doubt a significant improvement. It is so much brighter and looks way better. I think it's a job worth doing once everything else on the car is sorted, mechanicals, body etc as it is a complete ball ache and significant cost for a cosmetic improvement. I have decided for now to leave it until I have the car completely resprayed again, maybe some time in the next couple of years.

PAS fluid leak
Good News and Bad News! Good News - Looks like a failed jubilee clamp and a loose hose on the PAS fluid feed to the pump. Just need to get under it to have better look and fix it and clean it up. Then clean the drive way and garage! Bad News - on having a look underneath I have an oil leak which looks like its the area of main shaft seal. Probably minor as it was done a few years ago and it doesn't get driven for 5 months of the year!
