Thanks guys, Im really not sure as Ive nbot been spending much time with the car now lately. Ill look into it and post results. But yes, I think it was a flapping type noise. Sounded like the induction kit coming out the exhaust. I may try and record it for you. Thanks again

Ive been looking for some trucker air horns - loud as feck. They make them with small trumpets but about 4 I think as opposed to 2. just imagine someone stepping out - not looking then hearing feck off loud truck horns :)

I had my exhaust replaced some time ago for a stainless 2.5" HKS system with Cobra straight through back boxes. Sounded Well. Decatted it - sounded better. Now I have had the middle boxes removed so its straight through to the back boxes (which again are straight through). Sounds extremely well, deep, throaty and LOUD. However I have noticed now the right exhaust rattles, not the exhaust but it sounds like something in the engine making a noise? The only other thing I have noticed is a little black smoke from both exhausts. Any ideas? I can probably record the sound as an mp3.

Has anyone fitted any Corbeau? recaro seats instead of the big leather heavy electric ones that comes as std. Mine are cracking badly and rather than a retrim I was wondering wether to fit some seats in advertised by halfrauds, or the like? If so is it pretty easy and do they look ok, etc?

A.No, providing you do not add more than 50 percent extra power to your vehicle these kits will not cause any engine damage , so for example if your car is 100hp it is SAFE to add an additional 50 hp using a nitrous system so it would be ok to add 100hp to ours? would you need bigger injectors as its a wet kit or do the inlet they supply spray fuel in. would the engine stand up to 100hp extra!!??

Over the past week I have seen 3 Zeds in Sheffield. A White one, a red one with a modified front bumper and another red one looking pretty standard. Everyone I saw I flashed lights and gave a little wave to - Nadda. They just look at you like your some Moron (probably true). I flashed the same car twice now, each time hes just stared at me (Probably envious :slap: ) Tits, last time Im gonna wave at people

Has anyone worked out if its possible to adjust speedo with resistors or summit to recalculate speedo movement for us gauges. I have a set of white dials that go to 160mph. prob is at 30mph us reads about 20mph - dont wanna lose my license in 10 mins thinking im doing 30 when Im actually doing 40.

YEp, I bought a set and never fitted them 160mph!!!!! Bugger Ill probably sell mine if offered right amount. or fit them if I can get recalibrated.

I have replaced my vented headlamp nose panel for a blank debadged one. People are saying that you need the vented one to let more air in? Surely theres enough air to be sucked in that is cool from the vents in the bumper etc. I thought the vent was purely for looks? Perhaps if the car is running bigger tubs etc fair dos, but surely the induction kit can suck enough air in for a lightly modded zed.

My mate has now not got internet and asked me to post this. His zed when warm is running 145 on compression test on all cylinders bar one. One of them reads 120. Hes put oil down to prove piston rings are worn but he wants to know how serious a reading of 120 is? Thanks

I have a vented headlamp grill on mine but want to put the original on and have the badge smoothed over. Being a UK spec I popped the badge off and there is a fairly large imprint of the Nissan logo. I took it to a bodyshop and asked them to fill it and spray it and they refused. They said it would just crack and pop out? Has anyone else done this successfully?

Im presuming when you unbolt the oil pressure sender your gonna have oil piss out everywhere? or is it above sump level? in fact - where is the bloody sender? :)

I sold my Mk3 Supra Turbo for one too :) Best thing I ever done. Rather than spending £4500 on buying mine I spent 3.5k on it and kept the rest for doing it up and repairs.

Im running a JD special :) So what do the standard tubbies run out at - 17-18psi? I presume a set of 555s and bigger ICs and I can run ok at 17psi ish
