Please please help!!! dead car!
i have lots of spares you coult try. PTU, ECU etc etc to see if you can eliminate the problem. PTU often causes intermittent cutting out. Does it ever cut out and refuse to start then work fine an hour later? Paul

network help needed
getting well sick of this now running a laptop and desktop through a wireless adsl/router. but the computers keep losing each other on the network, keep getting the message "you may not have permission access" and "network drive cant be found" type messages when i try to access the other pc's drives but sometimes it will work fine so i cant understand how it can be one of the settings. I have tried the usual stuff like turning off the firewalls etc but thats not the problem. Also when the PC's cant see each other both can still access the internet no problem so its not a problem with the wireless router being down. Getting well sick now its the whole point of setting all this up so i dont keep having to use memory sticks to move files around  any ideas Paul

we will never beat america
Tell u what taking out private medical insurance like the yanks do would cost me a lot less than the hundreds a month tax i have paid for umpteen years . I think the yanks are a good nation except for the loony bible belt who still believe in Adam & Eve and Noah's fookin ark LOL. (anyone who is educated and understands the science of evolution will understand what i mean  )

Rip off britain. Prices are inflated on purpose for this country, Thats why official suppliers over here cant even get stuff as cheap as you can from the US.

Dogging????
My mate was at a local carpark watching through the window with his pants round his ankles and the police pulled in, he just managed to get his trolleys back up in time for the police to pull up and ask him what he was doing, he replied "just talking" the coppers just sniggered at him and drove off  My uncle who drives trucks says its all over as they often have to pull up in laybys for the night. paul

More bad news about my leg!
Its a shame you have spent so long in the chair and gone through all that treatment for it not to work but i suppose you do have to try first. Chin up bud this means you will soon be up and mobile enough to have a swim in the paddling pool at JAE. All the best mate Paul

Britain will be first country to monitor every car journey
What annoys me is the government will pay wardens to fine normal decent people in the street for dropping a sweet wrapper or if you dont declare your motorbike SORN in winter their computers automatically send you a fine. But try ringing the police cos some chavs are kicking your fence in or someone has trashed your £10,000 car, you will be lucky if they send someone out the same night. can you see the relevance here, one of these cases generates them money, the other costs them money, it stinks. The normal working man is an easy target you can be fined easily and if you dont pay they will use baliffs to kick your door in and take it, what a moneyspinner eh? like taking candy from a baby and its good for the crime figures too. But if your a scum chav kid causing havoc at night and your parents are just as bad well thats a lot harder to do anything about isnt it, so lets just ignore that cos they cant pay the fines anyway.

Britain will be first country to monitor every car journey
That was not personal feelings it was cut and paste from the governments own data protection act website. So i would assume that it is fact

Britain will be first country to monitor every car journey
The DPA website lists under exemptions Crime and taxation. 29. - (1) Personal data processed for any of the following purposes- (a) the prevention or detection of crime, (b) the apprehension or prosecution of offenders, or © the assessment or collection of any tax or duty or of any imposition of a similar nature, this data can be used by any relevant authority "relevant authority" means- (a) a government department, (b) a local authority, or © any other authority administering housing benefit or council tax benefit So the government have every get out clause in the book, and speeding or road tax would fall into these categorys.

Britain will be first country to monitor every car journey
The data protection act offers no protection at all to the public where we are talking about the government, police, inland revenue and all other governmental bodies, there is a list of exemptions to the act as long as your arm. A nanny state is a bad thing, the solution is not cameras and cards it is to get bone idle coppers out of their cars and onto the street and deal with the scumbags by locking them up, not monitoring innocent people looking for the opportunity to fine them for minor offences.

Britain will be first country to monitor every car journey
Thats rubbish its a matter of principal, i have the right to go about my business without being monitored, filmed or photographed. This will not effect the scum bags for 2 reasons. firstly people like that wont even have the id cards or register cars in their own names and secondly the law is too soft to do anything with them if they are caught. The government will NEVER do anything just for our benefit, any changes will always generate them more income and where will that come from? yeah the normal working guy who goes 5mph over the speed limit or lets his road tax get one day out of date.

shocking news
i dont think it will work, there is no way a tester can be expected to know every single car made and exactly what its origional spec was. especially older ones. I think they will just keep turning the heat up on emissions levels etc.

shocking news
I think in ten years we will all be driving boring little 1.0 shitboxes because they will price everything else off the road,. Oh unless your a politician or royalty you will still be ok to use your jags and bentleys at the tax payers expense!!!

Japstyle2 - Jan 06!
I dont like the idea of this "police notified" thing, that means the w*****s will probably be snooping around looking for tinted windows and number plates etc

Thought these were illegal !
in japan you dont call the RAC when you break down, you just send up a flare LOL. Mine had the holder but there was no flare in it. I remember someone here years ago had one and was papping their pants about how to dispose of it and if they should tell the authorities, bwahahaha what a hom, i would just set the fooker off i i had one

ali g zeds !
I think CJ's is an example of how to modify heavily without loosing the origional style and class of the Z. I love nice stock ones too but i do think they look a little slab sided now thats why i like the widearch and the stock front bumper is a bit bland as well. Each to their own. now onto Vinz's old petrol flap...has anyone bought it off him yet
