no bud the skyline was a a point behind me

well as some as you a already know the beast represented the club again at jae this year in the show and shine, and i thought i take the car in a different direction this year with the new perspex bonnet and coloured chrome effect engine bay. as some of you know how hard jay and i work on the car at the event and really try and blow there socks off with the finish and attention to detail, we got the phone call on saturday saying we are amongst the winners and make are way down to the winners enclosure . once there they called out best toyota best mazda and so fouth and john fuggles who runs the show said to the crowd .......as you can see we have 2 nissans left in the nissan category to which went to the skyline,,,,so im thinking here we go again now whats going to happen now especially after the last couple of years etc john went on to say how truly staggering the beast is and how the improvements keep on coming every year and because they are not doing car of the show this year they have a special award for the beast ........BEST CLASSIC...... the judge told me when i went up that he wasnt expecting a car of that standard to be there and that i only dropped one point so thats why they had to give me this new award,,,,,,,dont know quite how to read into that,????? especially when there was the old datsun in the winners aswell???? so i take that as a compliment then .

great pics lee .....you sure do know how to take a pic,,,,,,,,,,,dropped a point in the show and shine according to the judge from dodo juice,,, said after going over the car with a torch on the paintwork said he found a couple of swirl marks ,talk about being thorough,,,but couldnt find any dirt
