  1. The link below shows links to how to repair a "peeled up" dashboard http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/tech/index.html However, there is so little room to work I tried small brushes and sticks to apply the glue but the best method turned out to be my 'index finger' suitably covered in contact adhesive! I then found that the dashboard would not stick without continued pressure. An easy solution is to buy some sturdy paper clips approximately 1.5cm x 3cm (see photos) before you start. They can be quickly fitted in the small space to hold the dash firmly together whilst the glue sets. After a couple of hours they can be removed and the dash gradually regains its shape. Job done. 2. Hi Guys Still trying to find out how to wire up UK heated seats in Jap Spec. I have the seats the switch and the time delay relays...loads of short wires....but no loom  Does anyone have access to a UK wiring diagram showing heated seats? The Service CD I have just shows electric seats. Thanks Martin
  3. I am replacing the front callipers with R33 GTR Brembos and will be buying new front and rear disks. Wanted to match front and rear drill / slots for looks and keep my options open for skyline rear calipers. May have to buy skyline front and 300zx rear disks with same pattern if they wont fit. Thanks Martin
  4. Can you use the skyline rear disks with the standard 300zx rear callipers? Has anyone done this? The skyline discs are quoted as 22mm thick. The 300zx discs are quoted as 18mm thick Thanks Martin
  5. Chopper The wheels look similar to mine.....have 17's and have seen 16's but not 18's. Chrimson Inc Japan

  8. IP24 1NX Dave ....can you check for my email re T-Bar Hook... Cheers Martin
  9. Got fedup with people saying 'your window switch is loose'. I bet I am not the only one that has a switch with the little plastic hooks broken off. Fix: Take a simple electrical double spade connector (See pic) Drill out a small hole in the spade end. Unscrew the existing screw behind the switch and fit the connector.(see pic) Bend the connector at an angle and push it back in. There is enough spring in the metal to secure it. Job done. Small screwdriver can prise it out again if necessary. Not exactly rocket science but it works......will let you lot decide whether something this simple should go in the FAQ section... :) . Cheers Martin
  10. Hi Guys Has anyone got a wiring diagram showing a UK (Series 2) with electric passenger seat and heated seats. Trying to wire them up in a Series 1  From a post by crazy_eddie I think I also need 2 relays  Dont think I will use the existing switches as I will lose the folding mirrors. Just added some photos if it helps work out the heated seats etc. Series 1 has white, black and green/yellow wires on drivers seat. Have attached some photos. Any help appreciated................ Cheers Martin
  11. Went earlier this year.....take as much booze as you can. Bottle of wine with meal £35- only average plonk. Beer £5 a pint. Martin
  12. Matt I got my mother-in-law free when I married my wife....lol. I couldn't find any ready-made mats so I took the original Fairlady mats and made a paper template. Sent the template to a guy advertising on e-bay and some 5 weeks later !!!!!!!!!.... got the mats back in the post. Think they were about £26..hardwearing nylon with non slip back, not fancy wool/velour quality, but just like Halfords and fit perfectly. If there is enough interest I could look up his e-mail and see if he still has the template and would be willing to produce some more. Cheers Martin
  13. My mother-in-law who is 81 years old offered to make some 'Z' badges for my car carpets. She has a fancy sewing machine. I asked for black and silver to match the car. Three hours later she had setup the machine and produced these..fantastic job. Each badge has 14,000 stitches and takes 35 mins to produce. She is too old to register as a 'trader' but thought I might sell some on ebay. Martin
  14. Hi Guys I am trying to work out seat model changes with Luke at the Z Centre. The series 2 leather seat I am trying to retrim has 3 base sections as illustrated in picture B (red bit). Can anyone check their Series 1 leather (1989 - 1991) and see if it has 2 base sections as illustrated in picture A or 3 bases sections the same as picture B. Thanks to Dave (dave_new_ZX) for the original drawing. Cheers Martin
