Hi Guys Have been reading through the mountain of aircon threads but cannot find out what the original amount of R12 was used to charge the aircon system. If I have understood what I've read! Advice seems to be: - 90% of original charge for R24 (direct R12 replacement) - 70% of original charge for R134A - Add PAG oil as it is compatible with original mineral oil So does anyone know how much R12 was originally in the system and how much PAG oil should be added. You could remove the glass and replace the clear front perspex cover with a gasket and a diffuser cover. I can still access my lights from centre panel. Martin

Hi Taff Which Inverter did you buy? I got this response from RS Components when I was looking: Reference your enquiry for an inverter for the EL strip. I doubt very much that the inverters RS stocks will be able to drive your sheet. The RS sheet is very much smaller in dimension and the inverter drive is normally designed to power the particular sheet size, as is the case here. I would also think this would be the case with the sheet you mention. Therefore I cannot recommend an inverter, but if you were to try one I think it would have to be the largest, 267-8863, but no gaurantees! Regards John Hefford Customer Technical Support Martin
