Chris, dead easy to fit mate, got to cut a few holes obviously, but once all the wires are threaded through, its done. More time consuming than anything else because of trim panel removal etc

Also, the poll at the top of the screen is unfair, the driver wasnt as pissed as first alledged, if he had of been, he wouldnt have been able to stand, let alone drive. An unfortunate accident, but a perfect oppertunity for someone to disappear, should she wish.

When you read this post, what everyone is saying is spot on. I had my rear spoiler resprayed 8 weeks ago, and the paints already bubbling again, new fibre glass one later in the year is first on the shopping list

Thanks Pete, but no, had the dash out, checked the bulbs, and they are all ok, got a feeling that there is still a fault with my alternator, and its sending the wrong signal to the bulb. Back to the drawing board!!!!:cry: :cry:

Just to confirm that im not going mad, can any one tell me, when your ignition is switched to the on position, but not started, does your battery warning light illuminate, because mine dont. I have checked the charge system which is now fine, but this light is really starting to get me at it!!!! All i have lit up is the hicas, handbrake and door warning lights, is this right??? :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Help me! Can anyone tell me where the fuse boxes are on my z? Problem is, and i've only just noticed, is that when i switch my ignition on, the battery and oil light does not illuminate, only the hicas, handbrake warning, and door warnig lights. This isnt right, but i cant find any faults, so i thought i'd start with the fuses, but the only ones i can find are under the bonnet, there must be more Thanks in advance:confused: :confused: :confused:

Also, the reason for changing Jap tyres for British ones is quite simple, basicly, they dont come up to British safty standards, which will effect your insurence should the nasty occur:slap: :dance:

Just thought i'd chip in and throw a spanner into the whole tyre works thing. When a tyre size is written, i.e. 225/45x17 this means 225- is, or should be, the width of the tread 45- this is the tyre side wall hight, as a percentage of the tyre width And 17- is obviously the wheel size. Now i do know that if the tyre is fitted to a wheel with the incorrect J rating, this will throw the whole measurement thing out the window incedently, 225 tyres should be fitted on a 7J wheel, where as a 245 tyre should be idealy fitted on an 8J wheel have fun with that one

Nick im running the same tyre sizes as you, and the pressures yours have been set to is the same as mine, and im having no problems

If he's having a second look, he's intrested, dont let him blag you, and dont take no bull. He's just trying to frighten you, blag him back with some guff about it being a sports car, and gearchange is direct, If it's not direct then the gearbox is faulty because there is too much slack in it

Those pictures of your car look good, its no good, im going to have to get mine resprayed, the old paintwork just dont polish up like that!!

In my experience, its never good trying to get over a lost love behind the wheel of a fast car, the car tends to get damaged, and that is a bigger heart breaker!!!!

Hi all, thanks for the welcome. Emero, i have seen 2 300zx's in Yate, a grey h plate, and a black g plate, both look sweet. Mines off the road at the moment, rear hicas arm, and an alternator i cant get parts for. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to replace a steering arm on the rear hicas? I have read all the other threads on this subject, but some pictures, or an exploded veiw would be very usefull. And before anyone says, get an owners manual, i got one coming, but it may be a while before it gets to me!! Many thanks
