That just about sums up the mentality of the type of t*sser that drives that sort of cr*p. He probably drives around, wearing the obligatary baseball cap, thinking how cool he his, whilst in reality, people look at him, and his glorified wheel barrow, and think, what an arse. It is now becoming clear how one of these tw*ts ran me off the road, he could'nt see me , his head was wedged too far up his own backside!!!! Sorry guy and girls, had to get it off my chest, how is everyone????

you'll be glad to know, I didnt buy the car from anyone from the forum, but he did give the impression that he was an enthusiast, obviuosly im not that good a judge of character!!!!

Here's a question for all you knowledgeable types out there, it looks like my 300 twin turbo, that I bought in good faith, was a very poorly repaired insurance write-off, and muggings here thought he was dealing with a genuine enthusiast when he bought it. It turns out that the damage to my car since hitting a kerb may have been a blessing in disguise because the n/s chassis leg had been replaced, and not very well. So, getting round to my question, I have been offered a 300zx non-turbo, reasonably cheap, and considering swapping my engine, etc, into the non-turbo. Can this be done? Has it been done? what sort of works involved? At the moment it seems a bank loans out of the question due to other financial commitments, and I dont want to stretch myself too far, but if this swap cant be done, I wiil have to bite the bullet!!!!! :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

Update, after the snottyest of e-mails to my insurance company, they have decided to now send an engineer to inspect my car who has been instructed that I am an awkward customer, and if he comes back to me with the same stuck up atitude I had from the first one, I will be sueing them after I have had an independent inspection done. I wont be taking guff from them again!!!!!

Just to keep all you guys informed, and first may I thank those who sent thier kind words after my run-in with the annonymous, baseball cap wearing, nova driving gimp!! Its not good news, after a week at the insurance companies approved repairer, an independent engineer has decided that the damage to my car was not the result of an accident, and is refusing to authorize any repairs. He has said that because i tried to replace the suspension items i though were damaged, before i realised the severity of the damage, he has deemed it an old injury, and refuses to authorize the go ahead. To add insult to injury, he said the car is only worth scrap and has informed my insurance company that the cars not safe to be on the road!!!! Complained directly to the insurance company, what a waste of time that was!!! So at the moment im shafted, the suns out, and i got no motor. Moral of the story, dont try to fix yer car guys, the insurance guys are looking for any way not to help you, there all b*stards!!!!! :duffer:
