wow what a differance
i may be trying these CentreGravity people out soon to get my new suspension set up professionally. im very pleased with the new ride, except on odd occasions when i go over even a light bump in the road at speed i get a nasty grinding noise from around the wheel somewhere - sounds exactly like someone trying to ram a gear in without the clutch down.

Water leak
sounds stupid but did you get any rain recently - sitting on a steep hill might suggest some rainwater had escaped from somewhere. always worth checking the obvious before worrying about leaks (like i always do!)

slight trickle of water when cooling down
gah! just as i thought my running temp was finally sorted (after my rad-blocking front numberplate was down-sized and moved, the active bonnet vent cut into the bonnet, and I removed the under-bonnet insulation) - she was running at 70-75 degrees C (which im more than happy about!) but since she's come back from the bodyshop i dont know if something's been dislodged slightly, but i notice a small stream of water around the offside front tyre. looked a little closer and there's an occasional drip of coolant from right behind the Koyo on the driver's-side. cant really trace it upwards, but i might have seen a thin stream of coolant going down the back - only happens when cooling down tho. it seems to be half a cup-full per journey. the pipes and jubilees seem to be tight - not really checked them thoroughly yet. this is more of a diary entry than a question, lol!

just saw my first 370Z
...nice metallic black one followed me out of town (i was in an astra estate at the time!) - IMO looks much nicer than the 350 - seems wider, lower and meaner. front bumper looks more detailed and slightly more aggressive too. a proud addition to the Z family!

removal of wheel arch liner
its probably the other way round mate :( the screw will be rubbing down the tyre! ive just removed one screw from each side which I think is the culprit, so I'll see if that makes a difference. if not Ill replace them and remove another pair! fooknell mate, lol. how much of a drop is that now then? my 20mm drop is definately as far as i'll go - you can see from my pics thread how i just about fluke it into the driveway! the fronts - ive started off by removing the 2nd screws either side, at about 11 o'clock as you look at them (actually i removed them at about 11 o'clock as well :D) i dont have any mounting points though, just the flat arch liner straight into holes under the wing. im being stupid here - what did you mean by your penultimate sentence?

Bodykit and 19s FINALLY sorted
here you go mate :) i like the bull-ring-through-the-nose look of the 2nd picture - its the bottom of my twin intake (that may be coming off soon!)

removal of wheel arch liner
possibly a stupid question but is it ok to permanently remove the inner arch liner (specifically the front ones) - reason i ask is that after my larger wheels went on, there can be a slight bit of rubbing between the nearside tyre and one of the screws when im going over a bump in a particular direction. are there any potential drawbacks to not having the liner on - e.g. unprotected components?
