  1. yeah, what DGM said. and welcome to the club :)
  2. jeezus mate youve been busy! i bet all you got when you staggered indoors was "youre always playing with those bloody cars!"
  3. great vid mate. you should tell your son not to rev the Z high until the engine's warmed up a bit
  4. fingers crossed it could just be the filter struggling to breathe cos its still damp. if so then it should be ok by now.
  5. absolutely chuffin awesome!!! really good effects.
  6. well until one of the techies come on: have you checked your autobox fluid level - and what colour is it? when you say stay in vacuum, does it stay to the left or does it move partially towards centre? do an autobox diagnostic check to see if its throwing up any errors ...also search for 'autobox diagnostic' as it throws up some useful threads with some pointers
  7. that 0-300 video is just krayzee
  8. tbh i cant see any differences between GT5 and GT4 (other than more than 6 cars on track at a time). my expectations of GT5 on PS3 are VERY high. cant wait to see rally games like Colin McRae and WRC
  9. DAMMIT  got me too! sonofabitchRich!
  10. i get the odd pop or thump from the exhausts when ive caned it and put the clutch in. not seen what it looks like tho. one of my O2 sensors is lazy and so i think mine may be running rich too
  11. just to add to what T-Pot has said, if you find that your picture is too big, use the Stretch function of MS Paint to reduce the size of the picture (change the 100,100 to 75,75 or something). it should be ok then.
  12. lol, sounds just like the Viper spoiler. having said that, the Monza looks very very similar to the Viper, but with the extra "T" piece in the middle.
  13. it looks like its a direct replacement for the standard mk 1 lip spoiler. looks good
  14. thanks for that link Woody. ive plugged in the information i know and taken a best guess at the rest and it comes up about 350-ish watts. time for a new PSU!!!
  15. :hurl: that's gross, and funny.
  16. most electronic boost controllers will work with most jap cars. there is a section in the manual for the BC that tells you how to set the controller up for each variant of car - usually Nissans, Hondas, Scoobs, Mitsis and Toymotas. Each car needs a different configuration (as well as installation).
  17. hmm thanks for that Drift. the PC spec is 3.4ghz, 2gb RAM, 2 HDD drives, ATi X850XT gfx card. sounds like it's worth upgrading the power supply. im pretty confident about the house wiring - ive only ever had this problem with this new PC, everything else has worked fine. This inrush thing sounds good - once the PC is on it stays on no problem, the trip only occurs when switching on at the start. i'll trry and get round to taking the back off and looking over the mobo. thanks again for all that
  18. lol dammit mate its a Hewlett Packard! think i'll see if i can be bothered to get a fancy PSU from flea-bay and see if that cures the problem
  19. harumph! i think its more to do with the fancy Ferrybridge camerawork ;)
  20. you know I'll be there ;) this is a really enjoyable day both for Z owners and family alike.
  21. ok check this out. not had a problem with the PC recently (touch wood), as long as i switch it on/off at the back off the unit as well as at the plug. there's a USB cable which i use to connect to my printer (one of those with a normal USB connection at one end and a smaller squarer one at the other) that has a green neon light at one end :smw: although it works fine while the PC is on, if i leave this plugged in while i switch on the PC it causes a trip!!! unplug it and retry, and its fine! cant believe ive narrowed this problem down to a USB cable!!?!??
  22. well done mate! well deserved too IMO :)
  23. thats a great idea Leigh, good luck with the project! btw is the R390 based on the Z at all (obviously the headlights suggest this)
  24. an hour!!?! come on Mickey what were you doing, cooking dinner as well? ;)
