sounds stupid but you dont have the switch down by the shifter set to 'power' do you?

ive not used the profec BCs but the Blitz that i have has a scramble boost function where you can adjust the boost ratio when you hit the warning limiter. this is supposed to be used to drop the ratio slightly, but can also be used to increase the ratio higher (probably for pure pedal to the metal situations like overtaking a Zonda!)

i had the same problem, car nearly put me into a ditch after i'd gone over a lump in the road! - in the end it was the rear HICAS arms.

yeah cheap way is chip+jets. supply and fit would be about £200-£300 but would give you good power for money. or you could always stretch to a boost controller.......... ;)
