good on yer Chris - its hard to challenge yourself, its even tougher to make it public. funnily enough today i rejoined my local gym after 4 years and im aiming to get back to the fitness/strength that i was at 4 years ago. i think posting your weight up is a good idea and is an extra incentive to get fitter. i think fitness is a motivation in itself and as you get fitter and fitter you become more confident and motivated (and going for a sprint certainly blows the cobwebs out of your system!)

depends a lot on how healthy your Z is, but one in decent nick with those mods would up your power by about 60bhp. thats if the jets were 1mm. 0.8mm jets would give you another 20bhp on top but your boost could spike and det your engine. 1.2mm jets would give you about 20bhp less. its difficult to just give a figure really as like i said all Zs and mods are different (the above is a disclaimer against all the people that will say "no, it will give you +20bhp or no it will give you +100bhp) ;)

a good chip to start off with is JWT - nice and safe, just a little more adventurous than the standard one. John Dixon on here invented ECUs ( almost :D ) and can do custom jobbies for you. if youre running standard boost (which you ought to be with a stock chip) then normal unleaded is ok. try to move to V-Power when you tweak up the power. aftermarket exhausts will always be a benefit, especially with upped boost and aftermarket intake.

ok update y'all. fingers crossed and touch wood the problem has been partially solved. i'd only driven the Z once since I did the work mentioned above. Just been out in her this afternoon and, toes crossed, no more water from the A-pillar pods. There's still the odd light drip coming from the targa glass (water obviously making its way to the centre from a leak in the outside somewhere) but considering the weather we've been having I see this as a major improvement. If Im right then it looks like I can step out of my Z without looking like Ive wet myself! Really hope im not tempting fate by typing this :x:
