  7. anything with more than one Jap drifting at the same time, preferably about 1cm away from eachother
  8. BOVs that are situated under the bonnet tend to be louder to the driver, but BOVs mounted at the recirc point (like my Apexi's) are louder to the poor old biddy at the bus stop ;)
  9. youre getting Carl buggered??
  10. leathered. annihiliated. slaughtered. :duffer:
  11. well mine lasted for about 18 months, although it was part of a 2nd-hand manual conversion kit so no-one knows the state it was in.
  12. yes please mate that would be smart. do you think it would work ok with an RPS street clutch?
  13. lol well his secret is probably a Skyline or Supra engine transplant. or judging by his English, he was drunk when he typed it up.
  14. well ive been told that if youve had a slipping clutch for a long time then the flywheel will have started to warp (or whatever). i think with upped horsepower and a stronger clutch it's probably best to go for an aftermarket flywheel. i might as well get them both done at the same time. ive also heard you can skim a flywheel but that sounds a bit dodgy to me, especially with these cars.
  15. lol same here too mate, although unfortunately mine started going at J-Tuner shoot hence my shoite times   im half-way there tho - got me RPS street clutch, just need to get hold of a cheap lightweight flywheel from somewhere.... :(
  16. PMSL wondered what you were on about mate until I looked again
  17. damn it that body needs a good seeing to. :slap: :slap: :slap:
  18. lol, no chance. even on a mark IV you wouldnt get that pulling power from such a thin list of mods. apart from engine strengthening, all thats been done is: intake, fuelling, new turbo (cant see the words GReddy/HKS/JWT/Blitz anywhere...), spark plugs, zorst, intercooler and chip.
  19. lol, "I was trying to make more space in the garage by stacking the cars on top of eachother"
  20. As Andy says an electronic boost controller is better not just for spool-up but also for control and safety. boost jets are incredibly cheap and easier to install but may spike on you when you plant the accellerator. the smaller the jet size, the more boost you'll get. common sizes are 0.8mm, 1mm and 1.2mm. the latter gives you about 12/13psi, the middle gives you 14/15psi, and the former gives you 16/17psi ( :nono: )
  21. no i think my V5 says it correctly - there should be a plate at the front of the engine bay that has the engine number and some other details on it.
  22. up for sale on fleabay folks! ;) search for Magnette - its the only one on there!
  23. ive just graduated into the senior academy of post whoredness
