I have the Blitz DD bovs mounted on the Hard pipes and their Loud Enough ;)

Rob

i should be recieving some bovs soon, wuwhooooooo

depends completely on the valves. TurboXS RFL's are Really Fookin Loud if thats your thing ;)

BOVs that are situated under the bonnet tend to be louder to the driver, but BOVs mounted at the recirc point (like my Apexi's) are louder to the poor old biddy at the bus stop ;)

Turbo XS RFL is the way to go guys and gals! :D

We are talking loud enough to scare people to jump off the pavement at 1/4 mile and almost painful in tunnels with the targas off

Ask anyone who's been near my car

Bird - if you have Apexi BOV's you can turn the red surround and change the size of the hole (3 different sizes) and this affects the noise.

StellaZ - not able to post them today, will get my mom to go to PO on Monday.

iv Apexi but still need to fit them.

Surely you want them on the biggest hole in order to get the maximum sound out of them?

Wouldn't bother, Bailey BOVs sound like a wheezy cough. Leave them to the RS & Cossie boys...

I fitted a pair for someone on their tt manual which they supplied.sounded like a kids pushbike tyre being let down.bailey bovs are no good for z32s. :nono:

HKS SQV's mounted in place of recircs not as loud as i would like maybe coz im running standard boost at the mo, but they can be fitted with different inserts to sound different, i hope when the boost is raised the sound level will raise too

Smallest hole = loudest. It's all about air under pressure being forced through a restricted outlet. Think about how a compressor works ;)

I've got these BOVs too

They are set on the loudest setting which does scare old people :xxx: .

Since upping my boost they are ridiculous. They scare me sometimes. I think they might blow the nose panel out! LOL.

Bought some Blitz one from Kirby, to go in place of recirc's ( recirc pipes included,) but havent got round to fitting them yet, but then the cars not going anywhere so i'll just scare the birds out the tree's! d'oh never mind.

Ive got forge motorsport dump valves and i like em not too loud unless you are changing at full throttle so nice !!! i think they are mitubishi evo 7 mk4 off the top of my head?

How do you mean bud, set on the highest setting? I didnt think you could change the setting, you have to change the insert. Are we talking about the same BOV's mine are HKS super SQV's, as below.
