November 11, 200618 yr BOVs that are situated under the bonnet tend to be louder to the driver, but BOVs mounted at the recirc point (like my Apexi's) are louder to the poor old biddy at the bus stop ;)

November 11, 200618 yr Turbo XS RFL is the way to go guys and gals! :D We are talking loud enough to scare people to jump off the pavement at 1/4 mile and almost painful in tunnels with the targas off  Ask anyone who's been near my car
November 11, 200618 yr Bird - if you have Apexi BOV's you can turn the red surround and change the size of the hole (3 different sizes) and this affects the noise. StellaZ - not able to post them today, will get my mom to go to PO on Monday.

November 13, 200618 yr Im possitive its the smallest one mate. Can anyone confirm this? Smallest hole = loudest. It's all about air under pressure being forced through a restricted outlet. Think about how a compressor works ;) Steve :) '93 UK TT Manual [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
