  2. lol thats what all scrappy's say - are you a scrappy by any chance?? [rubs chin] you'll only get a fiver a tonne for that mate - everyone's bringing their cars in these days :D
  3. lol ive literally just got back from halfrauds for that exact same reason. they had some black metal mesh and some black rubber mesh that looks more at home on an allotment than on a car! lol. there seems to be loads on ebay so i was thinking of getting some standard colour mesh and having it painted gunmetal/anthracite.
  4. aww he's sweet!! look at his little claws!
  5. you need to determine whether theyre in the engine bay (on two of the large four pipes) or ahead of the radiator (situated where the stock recirculating valves normally go). apexi BOVs commonly go at the recircs and if not adjusted correctly (usually meaning that the screw end is not allen-keyed up tightly enough) then i believe they let air into the engine when they shouldnt be
  6. as Steve-o says (or demonstrated :p ), theyre another name for dump valves. does your car make a ptishh noise when you come off the throttle?
  7. do you have BOVs fitted mate? if so then they may need adjusting
  8.  how is that possible?? that girl was lucky though - a couple of feet down the aisle and she'd have been on the shelf!

  14. interesting write-up there and before i read that i wouldnt have thought that the exact angle of the filter would have made as much difference as the page claims. i'll try playing with my setup a little and see if it helps
  15. well spotted - i bet he sh@ himself when he saw the rozzers with a TV camera behind him!
  16. yep theyre the bad boys too mate. if they'd fit a 200SX they'd fit a Z wouldn't they? ...@Nick: yep im maybe thinking about Bronze ones too. there's a wheel shop about 2 mins walk up the road so i might pop in there on Saturday cos they usually do some good wheel/tyre packages

  18. ive noticed over the last few miles that it idles too low (about 600!) and struggles to keep the revs up (brum..brum..brum..brum all the time) - should i have reset the ECU after fitting this?
  19. just got back from seeing this and wow what a film!!! it did kind of go on for a bit, as if they tried to shoehorn too much in, but the action scenes and build-ups were awesome!!!
