  1. I have 275/19 on the back and no problem with contact like that. looks like the tyres have just tennis-balled.
  2. hmm personally I wouldn't touch the boost at all until I'd had a remapped chip, but I guess a couple of pounds above stock should be ok (but don't blame me if it goes bang!)
  3. congrats Jeff and welcome to the manual club!
  4. Even only reading the first couple of sentences it's clear it's a scam. Do not reply.
  5. This is something I've considered on and off for quite a while - but I'm told it involves a fair amount of work to get at all the bits required to do a proper job of it. I've recently had an N/A diff installed, which has reduced weight at the rear due to the Hicas loss whereas prior to that my car was almost exactly 50/50 front to back (it was weighed when my suspension was tuned). I wonder if an aircon removal will help restore the balance... Going from what Gonzo says I take it you can bin one of the pulleys and belts once the aircon has gone? Extra couple of ponies into the deal as well maybe?
  6. love the sig Darren!
  7. yeah I just hover over it to see what it's about before clicking it. no +1 from me
  8. wahey same here too - decats, HIDs and smoked side repeaters and she passed :gunsmilie:
  9. you could repost that advert every day I'd still watch it!
  10. lol I remember one occasion I was in the Z driving against a queue of traffic and suddenly noticed this Paxo waiting in line, who noticed me at the same time, reached forward, pressed something on his dash, and his car went... TTTTIISSShhhh.... I pissed myself so hard I nearly crashed. Either he had one of these units or his turbo was so efficient it was at full chat at idle!!
  11. good work, shame its the ugly slug-eyed subaru though!
  12. the 'i' stands for International (I think) - you should be able to use an allen key right in the end of the units to tighten/loosen the springs. I'm not sure if the ring with the different sized holes makes any difference TBH. EDIT - they should look like this: the adjustable bit is at the top
  13. I've had my Apexi's installed for years and they've been fine. Not caused any running problems at all, other than I need to remember to blip the throttle after dumping if I'm not going back into gear otherwise the revs will drop right down and almost stall. Which brand are yours Vods? Are they adjustable? If they are set too loose then they'll be almost leaking boost and won't make a noise. Too tight and you'll get surge.
  14. Nah bin it, save some weight ;)
  15. ditto - Jeff's just sent me some pics of grotty sills so it's going to be an expensive MOT this year :(
  16. Lol, Jeff actually did put "fit Knight Rider scanner" at the bottom of my worksheet, let's hope he doesn't forget it was a joke! Glad you're happy with your Z.
  17. lol good spot mate - in my head I said 330 mill, and that came out as ml not mm! Will fix.
  18. Good idea, why not! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?158548-EvoluZion3-Z-Diary
  19. Sheesh that took some sorting out! I've added in a load of new video clips too that I had knocking around on my hard drive so take a look.
  20. Thanks Groover - I found that if I used 'Manage Attachments' I could click the X on the icons at the bottom of the screen to completely delete the attachment. I'll start migrating the pics over to PhotoBucket. Thanks mate - thought it would be good to share the adventure with the rest of the forum. All the piccies are appearing twice or in the wrong order at the moment due to the above but I'll start sorting that out.
  21. Is it possible to remove one or more attachments from a post? Reason I ask is I was adding a few more bits to my Journal and noticed that with the new forum software you no longer get thumbnails but instead you get the full image (which makes sense as most people should have moved away from 56k modems by now!) and I noticed that where I'd messed up a few attachments I am now getting images related to posts either above or below whereas before you couldn't really tell!
  22. lol, I should have said minor fixes!
