  7. Thank you, I made that while I was at work on day about 2 years ago, was nice to be paid to make a model. I also had the Veilside model which I started to build but I was not very impressed with the quality and it never got finished.
  8. Never made one before so forgive me if this is not up to scratch.
  9. the boy dun good 'Arry
  10. Open it up, if its socketed its uprated, as to exactly what you would need the chip read, would be easier to just buy another chip that has what you want I would guess.
  11. Hi Scott, sorry to hear they are not 100%, I believe that this type of finish is very easy to damage although I have never tried to polish it myself, unless the finish is really bad I doubt you would notice much underneath the glass. It would be one of those things which you know is not quite right but unless you pointed it out no one would see and its probably best left alone.
  12. Yup, no problem with that personally, I know the Moderators have been up against it just lately and think the decision needs to be mainly up to the people that have to implement it.
  13. Sounds like an excellent idea but how difficult would it be to do? Sounds like something that Mike would have to deal with so perhaps he can let us know if its possible.
  14. but 5 years afraid to pick up the soap in the shower and not having my Zed and GSXR
  15. I believe something along these lines would be a good idea, when replying to or reading a post on technical advice or especially items for sale or wanted its good to be able to tell how active they have been on here without having to look at their profile.
  16. I have been with my missus for 18 years and the saying for me is "cant live with them, cant kill them" :D
  17. I have Bosch blades, they work a treat, especially if you give the glass a really good clean on both side, the outside of the windscreen sometimes get forgotten and although washed and dried still leaves a film of grease on the glass that gives the smeary mess with the wipers on in the rain.
  18. 6 for me paid via paypal, merry Christmas everyone :hyper:
  19.  it reverses engine wear   no seriously I reckon that if it was that good Castrol or another big name oil company would have bought a tin found out what was in it and made this miracle oil themselves, probably just thickens the oil up a bit to stop some of the noises/leaks but in the long term does more damage than good.

Use a set of UK clocks to change to MPH and a chip from DTA Greddy etc, like I said earlier its the best way to go IMO.

First of all if its cheap (usually ebay) I doubt it will be much cop for a Zed, these cars respond to money. If you want to derestrict it you can use a converter which alters the speed sensor output but if fitted wrong can cause all sorts of speed related issues or go for a chip, it will then be set to run on UK fuel with the limiter removed etc. For an idea of where to start on modding an NA look at my rides or if your subscribe to the club there is a dedicated NA tuning forum. Talk to the traders on here about what to do as well, they respond well to subscribed members and know their stuff.
  24. Did you get yours and are you happy with the result? this is the route I went guys.
