  1. Grey smoke is common when over fuelling, its not unknown for a coil pack connector to vibrate loose at higher revs due to the plastic lugs on most being broken then settle back down at lower revs so its not so noticable that its dropping a cylinder, worn injectors possibly??? whats the fuel mapping of a Devin chip like??? as usual loads of things may be causing it.
  2. Could be a few things, I would start off making sure it is firing on all cylinders thru through the rev range, another thing is a duff o2 sensor, dont suppose you noticed what colour smoke was coming out?
  3. This is place is suppose to be one of the cheapest for Redline. http://www.turbobits.co.uk/acatalog/redline_synthetic_gear_transmission_differential_axle_oil_fluid.html
  4.  furry dice
  5. wife came back today after kirbing the alloys on her S60, apparently its my fault for buying the car for her
  6. Always used Business Post as they seem to be cheapest especially for larger heavier items.
  7. Over the last 2 years I reckon I average about 210 miles per tank, for the first 2 months of owning her it was about 190 miles but replacing the lazy O2 sensors improved it.
  8. Same old pervs  bloody disappointing that was :D
  9. Cheap as chips :D
  10. First Direct, part of HSBC but British call centre, been with them nearly 20 years from when they first started up and never had a problem.
  11. Be careful mate, unless you can prove you cancelled the collection men will call for you like they did me.
  12. thats just not enough, they owe me £150  could have sold their old modem but I found it much more fun smashing it to pieces with a hammer.
  13. If you do then be ashamed, then tell me some way I can get back at them, Im not bitter and twisted about it really :mac1:
  14. What its worth and what you will get is 2 different things, IMO if you want to sell it this time of year and dont want to wait for than a couple of months for a buyer then £2500 if its in pretty good condition. Advertise it for £2750, if your prepared to wait then try selling in March and ask for £3500 ish.
  15. Yup, another must do mod.. and its free...
  16. How about the TopGear episode where they were doing burnouts in the 300??
  17. Dont let this worry you, Doctors can do wonders now with some old Fairy Liquid bottles and sticky back plastic.
  18. This was my choice in the thread below. http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=50078&page=1&pp=15&highlight=delorean
  19. Or Gliptone, they have the correct shade for the scuff repairs on the 300zx, plus leather restorer and conditioner all sold as a kit for about £20 http://www.liquidleather.com/
  20. I did work it out and I think I spent about 12 hours on hold over different times due to giving up when I wanted to ditch them, a month after I managed to cancel I was still getting bills from them, more time on hold and I gave up, ended up with more bills which finally came to £150 and a collection agency at my door, no way to proove I had cancelled and was given no choice but to pay up after advice from the CAB I could prove the amount of time on hold but not the content of the conversation, cant tell you how much I hate this company.
  21.  you ever tried contacting them ?????? be prepared for a few hours on hold and I am not joking, binned them and went to wanadoo. ;)
  22. Much better mate, sure I have seen that for sale somewhere, I recognise the wheels.
  23. £3750 to you, serviced 200 miles ago by main dealer and new Bridgestone rear last week, but if you hear of anyone looking for one let me know and I will give you a drink ;)
  24. I reckon, I want to replace the injector connectors at the same time, depends a lot on what time I have off at the begining next year but hopefully.
