  2. Can someone tell me where all the earthing / grounding points are on a Zed please.
  3. Andy, are you in the same strip bar as me ???? :p
  4. Purchased the car on the 16th October 2003 and had it shipped over on the MV "HUAL TRIUMPH" on the 30th November 2003, had it 3 years now
  5. Any idea what time you guys will be there till? I will be on route from Crystal Palace to Ipswich that afternoon and would like to take a detour that way if I am not too late.
  6. As standard they dont fold in and out on a UK spec, you would need to buy a set from an import and wire them in with a switch to get them to fold in and out.
  7. It looks extemely well made but just doesnt look right, nasty is too strong a word though.
  8. Well the manual states have it on P but the oil level is the same with either.
  9. Check it while the engine is running and up to temperature, use the hot markings, either have the car in N or P.
  10. I know its an obvious one but cruise control doesnt work over a certain speed.
  11. Connery is my favourite so far, but I am looking forward to the new bond, I enjoyed the film layer cake and hope he can carry off the role well.
  12. When I changed my belts they had to be adjusted after a couple of days because they stretched a little, would have been a lot worse if they had over tigthened them.
  13. My cars worth 20k easy and was valued at 8k recently :) , all you will get here is opinions, if you need to prove its value you have to speak to an approved valuer such as mentioned above, I think it costs about £20 if your a member of a club with the services of one.
  14. They get my vote, I think something radical needs to be done as this country is almost down the shitter now and there is no way any of the big 3 parties will do anything radical and risk loosing the votes from the "minorities"
  15. Some more for you then, it runs on just a crew of 13 men/women, is painted with some newly developed low friction paint to help it glide through the water faster and has the largest single marine diesel engine ever designed, merry christmas from all at the Port of Felixstowe. :D
  16. I have one in very good condition from a 1991 NA, with cruise switches and the centre Z badge is still there. £40 delivered
  17. If the government truely wants to do something about these problems it should punish offenders everything they say and do now is purely aimed at gaining votes at the moment, a leader with a real set of balls is whats needed, something we have lacked in this country since the "iron lady"
  18. I have not hidden my thoughts on lack of customer service from that trader but good luck with the claim. As for the head gasket going my first thought would be is there any condensation coming from the exhaust or signs of oil and water mixing? brown mayonaisse type mess inside the oil and rad cap.
  19. I am actually at the stage of considering moving house so the car has more room :D
  20. 1 Travolta in Saturday night fever 2 The alien in Predator 3 Soaks up dribble while passed out on the floor drunk 4 Missile launcher :D
  21. Probably bird's complete lack of luck where a zed is involved , I hope this isnt another engine gone tits up for you mate.
  22. I dont think there is much on that car thats not VERY VERY CLEAN ;) , if I have not told you before, love the car and dedication you are putting into it.
  23. Not too bad to do once you have lost all the skin off your knuckles, while they are out you might want to think about taking them apart and cleaning them inside, it makes a real difference to the headlights.
  24. Currently driving a tug for Felixstowe Dock but over the years I have done most jobs there from berth op to crane driver. Who do you work for Si? I did a similar job to you for Geest North Sea Lines as operations supervisor, first job of the day was to collect ships bag and kick all the old slappers off the boat.
