any meets planned
It would be good to have an idea or two for dates and venues so we can actually get a meet planned.

any meets planned
I would suggest go for a date in August, that way people have time to see there is a local meet and make arrangements to attend, there might even be some sun by then, probably a pub just outside of Ipswich with a decent car park.

Help with Engine Loom
Thats that hard bit done then, refitting the plugs is pretty straight forward now, I had to remove the glove box and blower to get to mine, and the passenger seat so I could lay in the footwell with my head up there.

Help with Engine Loom
There is a metal plate held on by two 10mm nuts inside the bulkhead, you have to remove this first which is a pain in the bum, when I did mine I could see no way the plug would ever fit through without removing it first even though some people say it will, good luck.

Dont bring them into Felixstowe, they are the most expensive and careless, I know I work there.

The camera is very good but I am no David Bailey, its easy to use and so far the pictures look good to me, I tend to surf the net while at work on the phone and dont come close to using up the web allowance. Congratulations on the news with the baby by the way, not been on here in a while and just read that in another post, your life will change massively very soon, but dont worry it wont all be bad !!!!

Does he know what he's got ?
I have asked twice if I can view the car, neither time has he even bothered to respond, I was thinking of maybe breaking it as I am pretty sure the gearbox is a lot worse than a blown fuse, my guess is he is hoping someone will buy without viewing because of the gearbox or some other problem, that is just my personal view.

Who is Mike at Z World?
This was the one I was thinking of when PHNW was mentioned, reasonably similar.

Who is Mike at Z World?
Its a similar colour to Daves old car but I thought he broke it for parts ?? Perhaps he is thinking of Z Tech, that might explain him being so unhappy with the service they provided.

Leaky T-Top - Any quick fix?
Vaseline is an ok cure but I believe I have read somewhere that it may in the long run damage the rubbers, peanut oil is a better option as it makes the rubbers expand slightly.

Sergent C old zed is back
That has always been a beautiful example and its good to see it being advertised for decent money, I truely hope it sells and the new owner takes it to a few shows to help promote the 300zx and boost interest, that in turn will help increase the value of other good quality 300zx's, right now there are more bad examples than good ones and that is whats holding the price down.

SWB bargin
The origional fault was a hydraulic lifter but if it was not repaired properly I guess it could have overheated and done more damage.
-
SWB bargin
I know this car, it origionally had an engine problem about 3 or 4 years ago, it was repaired although I dont know by who and purchased by someone who had it a couple of months and then more engine problems, last time I saw it looked in pretty good condition.

woodpecker in the dash???
When messing around with the TPS on my car I noticed if its a long way out it caused a ticking sound from the dash which I guess was a relay, this would also cause your idle speed to be way out.

A few questions
The thread usually strips on the bolt hole for the starter, thats what happened on mine and when I looked into it on the forum it seemed a few other had the same problem.
-
A few questions
Sounds like the starter might be loose, a fairly common fault on the 300.
