  1. I really like that MR2 myself. Always been a fan of the MR2 tubbys anyway.
  2. How do they perform vs a Zed??? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=78301 ;)
  3. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-NSX-3-0-T-F-Matic-Targa_W0QQitemZ270038379296QQihZ017QQcategoryZ18206QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Says it all!!! How many other '95 jap cars will command that kinda money. Only one on ebay too! Apparently you don't get any imported ones either as in Japan they are considered the ultimate home-grown automotive status symbol and are so pricey that it's cheaper to buy one in the UK anyway!
  4. On my way back from work today saw 2 of these sexy motors. Shame they still cost so bloody much! Must be the most expensive and classy looking of all the big jap cars dont you think? I love em!
  5. To be fair Toyota's overall build quality way exceeds Nissans from my experience.
  6. Does anyone know of any nice seats from other cars that will go in a zed without any major work? Cheers, Justin
  7. It seems that many of you guys seem so keen on a slicktop Zed. Other than the fact they are quite rare is there any other reason? The fact you can take the roof off was one of the main deciding factors for me to have a Zed over an RX7, Supra or GTO. I also had a T-bar MR2 tubs before so felt I could not let the "roof off" thing go. So go on.....why???
  8. !!!ANORAK ALERT!!! Sorry but thats a 288GTO in that pic! :nono: :D
  9. The Countach was an impressive car to look at in the same way an Evo 6 or an Escort Cossie is but I can't say it was good looking. You could never say it was a pretty car could you? LOL As for the Ferrari.....I like it, still the badge with the ultimate status IMHO. ;)
  10. Cheers guys, great advice as always. I have passed the info onto him:)
  11. Hi all, My mate has lost his car keys and has no spare. He has no idea what happens in this situation and I am not sure myself. I suspect he will have to get all the locks changed and a brand new set of keys. Am I right on this? Its a 10 year old Astra if that helps? Justin:)
  12. I was certainly impresed hence why I bought a place there. I will post some pics up as soon as it's finished. There is also a very long season. It runs from mid december to mid may so plenty of time to get out there. Can't wait to get out there and stay in it! :hyper:
  13. I hardy saw a drag lift all holiday mate, there is very few indeed. The lift system is the most modern and one of the best in Europe. There is a very quick 6 seater Telecabin that takes you up to the slopes and then chairs seem to be the way it goes after that. It is great for boarders as well. We had so much snow when we went. My mates who board were having a whale of a time. There is currenty about 65-70 Kms of marked piste so sizewise its no Val d'Isere yet but has great potential and we found it plenty for a week. Pistemap below ;)
  14. Just thought I would offer my brand new penthouse apartment for rental this ski season. Its situated a short walk from the main gondola in a really nice, up and coming ski resort called Bansko in Bulgaria. It has one bedroom but can easily sleep four thanks to a sofa bed in the living room. I went to Bansko in February this year with the lads and we had a great crack. Prices are silly cheap with a pint costing as little as 80p in some places. The same goes for a 20 deck of Malboro Lights! A three course meal with wine can easily be had for around a fiver. (My god, this is sounding like the end bit on those holiday programmes!) :smash: Anyway, the apartment is due for completion in November and has all the luxury Garnish as follows:Gym, Sauna, Jacuzzi and Indoor Swimming pool. I will do a very good deal for club members so let us know if any of you are after a ski holiday bargain. ;) Cheers, Justin
  15. Yeah, love Falkans. Fulda's well worth a look too. No need to remortgage the house to shod your car with Bridgestones, Goodyears and Toyo's! All the performance without the snob value means you get a bargain. Bit like the Zed all round don't you think!!! ;) :nana2: Justin
  16. Enough Banana's!!! :nana2: :nana2:  The guy did suggest cutting away the bit at the front of the skirt that raises up the wing to bring it back down to the same level as the bottom of the door then filling from there. I am sure he said he would need to do something else to it though to make it look right. I thought this would be quite an easy job to do but maybe I am wrong:( I guess as you said the easiest way would be to just blend the joins of the skirt. Sure it would still look better than just having them bolted on as they are now.
  17. My car is in the body shop at the mo having a few little touches done to it here and there. I have decided I want my Greddy sideskirts blended in. I have just been to see the car and have been told there will be some issues with the blending into the front wings. Because the fronts of the Greddy skirts protrude out quite a bit it means the wings need to be built out. However once this is done it will not match up at all with the door. Now if the door is built out as well to match up then there will not be enough room for the door to open. Maybe this is just an issue with the shape of the Greddy's? Did anyone encounter a similar problem when they had their skirts blended in and if so how did your body shop get around it?
  18. Yeah, I agree, Japs are best although get a Shogun and everyone will think you like dags!
  19. Just dropped my car in to have some bodywork done on it and am considering having my Greddy sideslirts blended in. I know it looks far nicer and stops a lot of rubbish getting between the skirts and bodywork but I am guessing it's a total mare if say a front wing needed removing for some reason? Any opinions? Justin:)
  20. Can anyone think of a more unreliable car every built? Would say it's the last thing you need for an 80 mile daily journey, especially during Winter. Wide berth mate, big time!
  21. Cheers Phil, I'm now officially past it so will be out down the pub later drowning my sorrows! :duffer:
  22. LOL, its funny how some people just love to jump on the bandwagon and rip 5hit out the people who do the job best. It’s a kind of love/hate thing. Think Beckham perhaps....? It almost becomes fashionable! I for one think Schumacher was a great driver and he only won about half his titles in the best car. I would say 2001, 2002 and 2004 to be precise. I don't think Alonso had a chance today to be honest. The best he could hope for was third. Schumi and Kimi were in a league of their own. The fact Alonso got the penalty is all immaterial now anyway seeing his engine blew.
