I somehow doubt it Richie, but you never know
  2. thanks guys, yes Mark was great to deal with, he also had a single exit one for sale, but personally i prefer the twin exit pipe, it may need a bit of modification in fitting, but i am lucky that one of my sons, who looks after the car, is a super welder, and has made lots of custom exhausts for racing cars, and i get special rates!!
  3. thanks to the heads up from Bird who seen it on another place, and some negotiation with the seller, it should arrive with me Saturday, I got it posted to Derby, my cousin from there is coming to Ireland by car to stay with me Sat night, so just hope it gets there on time. I discovered the seller is on old member from on here Topless!! its a Trust/GReddy worth taking a chance me thinks to get swb one.
  4. fair play rich20, great result
  5. OK the stand is booked Provisionally with Mondello, however they will have no further details or costs until near end of August, as a lot of staff are on annual leave, basically there is no charge for the stand and approved cars get discounted entrance. I will also invite any Zclub or 350z people. So if you know anyone with a Z car any model feel free to invite them along. lets start a list, Tulip 300zx Z32 1995 LiZony 300zx Z32 1996

  9. Ah for 12 years I could hide in here, say what I wanted, go to meets, get rat assed drunk, talk pure and utter bull, and nobody hover here was none the wiser, now those days are gone me thinks. btw they are both younger and much pretttier, and yes more refined.

  15. A couple of things that strike me, and of course i can only speak of over here, The disclaimer as regards most things is not worth the paper its written on, for track participents, there should have been a briefing and all track drivers sign the disclaimer and indemnity form. On a track day here, driver must produce clean full road licence and a helmet is basic safety fir any speed event. passengers must also read the disclaimer and wear a helmet. Public liability would still apply, these were all invited guests, but as non company employees, are still members of the public. Over here your normal insurance is null and void on track. Should anything have happened there a decent Barrister would have a field day, claim all concerned and you are bound to get a hit. Really sorry to hear about Ceejays car, but glad no injuries. PS. back in the day I was involved with our National Motorsport body, and as a Club Secretary and Clerk of the Course actually appeared in court twice to defend claims.

I think there could be a problem with trade policies, as it used to be they took nobody under 25 years old, either as a policy holder or named driver. Every year my policy is up for renewal I ring around just for the craic, mostly I get refused, in that we dont insure performance cars or the quote is just off the wall. At the moment I go through a broker, OHC Insurances, Main St. Dundrum, David or Jackie, Axa is the Company, Fully Comp. for 540.
  20. Thanks Andy, I paid hers as she does not have paypal, yes everything went fine on my side one for £20 and one for £10 a few minutes later,
  21. she will have user name LiZony, thanks
  22. Hi Gary i have just renewed, and made a new subscription for my sister on paypal
  23. seriously Ian, if your getting too old, there is no hope for me, sure your only a kid!!,
  24. Is there any interest if I organise a proper Club stand at this event, I did it twice before, I could borrow the banners from Gary at JAE, or he might even come south with them himself, the last time I also invited from the Zed club and we got a couple of the older models as well. from end of Sept. then mine will be sworn off the road, because of the high tax, until April next year.
  25. on the way back from Cork, stopped at McDonalds Dungarvan to get a coffee, next thing there a jeep blocked me in, guy gets out, "i just bought one of these last week" ended up talking to him and his wife for about 40 mins, pointed him to the club here, gave him CiaranZ number,as he needs some parts, its a 1990 grey TT Auto, sounds like a UK spec, told him about Richie K, as he lives nearest, his name is Jim and he lives between Cappoquin and Lismore in Waterford, he is a car enthusiast, and hopes to have it on the road soon, so watch out for him on here
