You might get away with it if you live near the border, otherwise you risk revenue seizing the car, Its nothing got to do with EU we have alwsys had very high road tax, and they seem to make up the rules as they go, my other z Which I imported from the Uk and is a uk spec. is ONLY 365.00 per 3 months.

Thats why there are hardly any big cc cars on the road, it different for post 2007 cars they are done on emmisions, I know people now who are saying their 2.5ltr Supras are only 2ltr to save on road tax

Hi roy, great to see your still around, and have your car even though we never met, there are photos up but in my newbie thread, I havent really had a good drive as coming down from Galway, the balance was off very badly, got the wheels balanced on Monday, driving great then the windscreen cracked as I was on the m50, it seems nice and tight and responsive, but im annoyed about the windscreen as it was in for the NCT next week, I will prob have to cancel it now.

Thanks all for replies, Simon you never fail, your like a walking wikipedia of the z32, because i would have presumed all imports were bronze, I just feel guilty for making a claim already, I shall investigate costs tomorrow, but what you guys forget, usually what you pay for parts its double over here

And so it starts, the joys of owning a Z, elation to depression in 3 days, my windscreen has developed a huge crack on the passenger side, It just appeared as I was driving, me thinks there must have been chip, but it started down in the corner where all the discs are displayed somi may have missed it. So a couple of questions please Are lwb and swb the same windscreen? Should 95 jap import be bronze tint? Would you fit a secondhand screen? Yes I have fully comp. With windscreen cover, but the insurance is just 3 days old. Thank you in advance
