  8. where do i start there were so many good moments and people that made it such a fantastic weekend big thanks to kim for the organisation and set up, another few sessions with us and we will make a real man of you:duffer: i was lying in my garden today and your right the grass is much greener from that angle:x: congrats to jason and the beast for winning best car of jae, but that wasnt as important as him letting me use the car in the marquee as a mobile disco especially with my choice of music, was also good to meet the nice guy behind the "polish and cloths" competitive jason never;) naf for restoring my leather bolster with his very expensive stuff, and nice meeting you yassa and the "real young yassa" great young man bluenik, (too much of that scrumpy) rata2e, ianl, tizer and family, artzogo good to meet with you guys again the new members i met, pistol pete, misterc, davegt240, and the person i had a chat with about coming over to mayo(ck300??) good to meet you all kirbz it seems im never sure if i have met him before or not:duffer:sorry jefftt and his team, for all the work on sat shrek, sorry, i wont come over next year and give you a chance mikey bean, slept in kims tent instead of mine:cry:: znut and his wife who took over the bbq from me, cheerz poor isaac, did they not warn you about me,? ;)) but thanks for listening i also met craig,(founder of this club) his wife and family on sunday, that was very interesting listening to their story of how the club started. it was great having my son and his gf and some other irish cars over with me, 1 of whom won the nissan show and shine with his s15 sylvia if i have forgotten to thank anyone for their great company over the weekend it must be the :duffer::duffer::duffer: put this in your diary for next year guys, and the rest of "what went on tour stays on tour" ps are bird and sarah out selling photos to the news of the world:D
  9. for those people interested no. 9 highest road mileage mine is [b]135,800 miles on original uk spec car the highest on a car there on sat. still not sure its a good trophy to win:confused:
  10. i think it should be miles driven to the venue in a z, for next year:o but it really doesnt matter if you come 5 or 500 miles as long as your there ps any suggestions as regards a good outboard engine to fit to a z32, btw mikey were you wearing your man "skirt" when you threw the dummy out:rofl::rofl:
  11. agreed , i had the best of intentions of driving up to zedfest on sat to meet up with you guys but i was a "little under the weather" to say the least, hope you all had a good time
  12. i think we had almost 30 cars on display on the stand on saturday, and i know what you mean dave about the sunday, even our club founder craig with his wife and family arrived at the stand lunch time sunday and there were only about 5 of us left, but i think its a lot to do with very long distances that people have to travel home, plus all the club voting for awards is done on the saturday,

  19. thanks mark for the pics, i forgot about jay and his lovely 260z was not on our stand because he was on the mij (made in japan) magazine stand as his car was the cover story of this months issue ps phil dont forget the vid link from howey
  20. it was a real shame about the weather, lashed rain most of the day, a very big :bow: and thanks to those that came along phile all the way from galway with friend howey, lovely white swb, hope he has a few photos marrknak8 in his recently acquired z, nice to meet you datty240z all the way from northern irl in his 240z, he is a wealth of information on the z range which is willing to share with all without cars, dmaprelude and young 300lover, always great to see you guys and catch up and a big thank you to gary wilson, chayden and richard for the txts as to why you couldnt make it, much appreciated it was a very good show with lots of track action as well, club track sessions, time attack, drifting and there should have been drag racing but it was cancelled due to the weather conditions. we were the smallest club in attendence:D and the largest was the isdc(subaru) with over 100 cars on the stand, i like a bit of excluseivity
  21. bump looks like just 4 of us on a stand i booked for 10 cars i suppose it will make us the most exclusive car club at japfest, at least we keep the z32 flag fllying i should be there from about 8.30am the gate have your names and regs and you can pay at the gate, see you tomorow

  24. yes you can arrive on the day gary, they want an indication and for stickers, stand booked for 10 cars which is a struggle finding and thats inc zclub datsuns
  25. bump this is next sunday, i had an email from mondello today looking for reg numbers for the cars on the stand any definites yet
