Riding on 19"s
yep mine has 19s on it and i have also lowered the car 30mm it has never rubbed the wheel arches nor the plastic inner ones on full lock. i would also go as far to say 80mph dashes around country roads are now a lot of fun. the ride is stiffer but the ride is awesome. so long as you get the correct offsets. Elite in london are very good. for the sake of a £200 more get 19s then slam the car 30mm with AVO springs. i can get these progressive wound springs for less than a couple of fills of optimax. :p :D

Strut Braces, yay or nay?
i have them fitted front and rear and it definatly stiffens it up the cornering greatly improved. i am looking for some adjustable camber arms at the moment to get me camber back to 1degreee currently at 3.7degrees inner edgesstarting to wear after 1000miles. i see luke does them for about £400 is there anywhere else got them a bit cheaper.:)

What a result!
i should think myself lucky after seeing a young lad with his dad letting his boy climb up onto the rear of that guys green zed with the strotesk kit. using the rear spoiler and bumper as a climbing frame, his old man did nothing.

What a result!

What a result!
That is why it was a result i had about 4 different shades of yellow on me motor very annoying. i had budgeted for the paint this summer. they have removed all pin dents and redone me tailgate skin which had sunk slightly and even the key marks someone had put in me wing at billing 2 years back. i should have it back on wednesday they are just waiting on window rubbers. thanks again for the front bumper. cheers "T".....

What a result!
for those who do not know a couple of months back a woman clipped my rear quater caused a scratch about a foot long, with a tiny pin dent near wheel arch. her fault 100%. insurance accessor came and had a look at it and told me to take it to their approved body shop. left it there a few weeks went back to look at the repair. talk about a patchwork quilt LOL. they could not match in colour mine being Pearl Yellow. three weeks later the car looks like new again a complete Respray £2500 worth. that is one of the Biggest freebies any one has ever given me. what cracks me up is that i had it all budgeted for a total respray this year. i now have 2k to spend on more goodies. any suggestions, i do like me Gold any one selling any. "T" :D

Slick 50 in your z?
i use extralube ZX1 in mine friction eliminator. this does not contain P.T.F.E. i have used it in all my cars, gearboxes and back axles is the best especially if you got a whining one, noise just dissappears within a couple of mins driving. i noticed 3 miles peg gallon per fill up in the zed, now 22-24 mpg was 18-21. that is in a modded Twin turbo, never had a sticking tappet since as i only use mine once a month these days, due to many mods going on. running temp lowered. oil temp reduced considerably. does take a lot longer to warm up now. less friction = less heat. also Halfords now stock this additive zx1 website is http://www.team-zx1.co.uk/main.cfm

magnolia dials and wood kit, opinions?
first of all Syko steering wheel is £140 but you will not get it in that colour as i sent it to connoly to have it matched to the interior that is an extra £70. the boss unit is from http://www.takakaira.com it cost around £70 which keeps in place the cruise and hicas, it is a universal boss hub which allows 99% of aftermarket steering wheels to be added. they also do one without cruise buttons. it is a very neat bit of kit. as for the wood kit it is a ultra thin piece of wood stained then a layer of lacquer to seal, 3Ms sticky back apply with a hairdryer quite flexiable when warm. nigel. Luke at the Z center will sort you out. his supplier will have a go at allmost anything. they sent me a couple of different wood samples. cost including non standard Magnolia dials was about £350 :) worth every penny..........
