hello mate there is no need to de-cat the car that you have as it has allready been done. it has no internals inside the original pipes.also it has a jwt chip allready fitted as this was done by me. the only thing that i am not sure on is the boost pressure it is set at as he had no aftermarket boost gauge. 1.2mm jets were used to be safe approx 13-14 psi. assuming that you are the guy that bought the black one off of jiz in wales. i wouldnt waste your money on those mods as there will be no more noticeable gain but i agree that advancing the timing a degree or two will. bit dangerous though if you do not know what to listen out for. :)
  12. Im gutted 12hrs of sun on saturday in a big Eminen Crowd and too much red Stripe. i only got up at 6pm today, saw and hung to fu#k. I will be at thorsby though. going by the pics i would have met a few more of you lot. whens the next one.
  13. timing may be to far advanced. mine was set to 19% when i first checked. it used to pink in hot weather retarded it to 15% correct setting and that sorted that. warren buddy you sold them DV's yet £210 tomorrow.
  14. the more stick you give em the better they are.
  15. what are they doing there. i sold them to Kris.
  16. i can do the AVOs for a lot less as me mates mrs works in reception. just over half that money Quoted
  17. just having a go found this old pic on elites website with me old wheels.
  18. cheque your electric fan is cutting in not the clutch driven one. leave it on idle on driveway
  19. chris i have wired it to the same wiring as the old one that worked fine. the alarm and immob was fitted from day one. i will test wire voltage to see if that is why it cuts out. maybe i havent a constant live when key removed.
  20. First of all big thanks to Johnny at GRASSHOPPER MOTORSPORT for the timer. what am i doing wrong fitted the turbo timer to the car also boost pipework, i used the propper wiring harness so just straight plug fit to original harness i earthed the single blue wire as it says either fit to handbrake switch or earth. what is happening is all works fine if you turn off the the key one notch timer does its job keeping engine running for calculated time. when i turn the key another notch so i can remove key all dead and cuts out shouldnt it still be running till the end of the countdown, have i done something wrong? the old turbo timer i had, i used to be able to take the key out and it would work. also there is a micro switch on the back of the control unit with A-B on it what is this for as i can't find it in the manual someone else must have come across this. big thanks "MR T"........
  21. do you have a part number buddy.
  22. cheers buddy i will give them a call. are they adjustable ones.
  23. who does these and how much. i do know that luke does them are there any other suppliers. i would prefer to use the adjustable ones instead of the spacers. does anyone allready have them fitted as mine is running 3.7 degrees should be nearer 1 degree camber
  24. IMHO it improves the handling 100% these progressive springs are the tits. ask harve about the anti squat as i have fitted a set on his recently. mine being an import i didnt have the electrics on the dampers. i can now do a set of AVO's supplied and fitted for £200. :;)
