With the bios side of things be careful and use Asus own program for updating the bios to make it get the right one but be aware its not always a sure patch:headvswal, although I have never had a problem and always use Asus as used to deal with them in the last company I worked for. Might also be worth looking at the amount of ram you have and giving the system a full spyware scan/virus scan etc etc to get rid of any process/memory sapping as it happens. You should not have any issues running it from a new cpu install but always Always back up ALWAYS!!! Invest in an External hdd enclosure in the future :D can make an Image of your Hdds every so often in the event of a total system failure :P

Ok mixed feelings on the extraction of the matrix so I am not sure to remove dash or go from underneath as I dont wanna go underneath and not be able to access a nut/screw/bolt. I have guides but would like personal preferance from someone who done as will be starting tomorrow or fridayish.

I have a small intermittant leak in the drivers side footwell but its only when system is off included picture below. Blue is the area it makes wet and the arrows are where the water comes from. Heater does not get warm very often either aircon works lovely so no probs with that. If I set heater to 25+ on the heater display I get luke warm air for some reason. I never have what you would call a toasty heater :( Anyone else had this issue and if so how was it rectified? Dont like shivering while driving lol. Thanks.

Bought my n/a jp model from a member here and just going through some of the gremlins a few of which I have sorted now :D. Main one is the Autobox which if in power or normal mode seems to not like changing until around 3-4k rpm but when in hold mode it changes properly, spoke to previous owner who was looking into the probs when he had it and has advised me he had the TPS sensor replaced. Would this need any sort of setting up ?

PAS level is all ok, easiest way to get airlock out is leave rad cap off and let it cycle right...

Some unusual things happened: Took the car out last night steering was heavy as tho pump went then 5 mins later was ok again. Go out to pick Girlfriend up today and heater was playing up would go hot then into aircon temp then back and keeps doing that although heater is on top setting. Noticed small spray in drivers side under where all the sterro gubbins are. But thing that worried me is the temp guage is up and down like a yo yo but no steam or anything showing. Anyone had these gremlins?
