Yeah was in a lil world of my own myself then BAM!!! spotted another Zed!! All chips no matter the size are prone to cracking, if you get a magnifying glass or something that enhances the zoom you will see hundreds of what we shall call jagged edges.... These are all waiting for the right bump,knock etc etc to spread into that huge crack you will be dreading :D Also if you are fully comp the insurance company normally replace it for like 50 quid... but you will be liable to full paying of your policy amount so dont cancel if you are comp and claim the windscreen.

Most of the time this unless I feel compelled to love thy neighbour and put the black one in the garage lol....

Ok finally got ConZult on the motor (Thanks again Andy) and shows no errors but had a lil trouble registering the gearbox, so after a lil while it finally popped on and was a little irregular so led us to believe it was the Autobox ECU... Today I tried the one sat in the TT in the garage but I still get the nasty kick backs, now I dont know if this is coz TT is incompatible with the N/A Autobox ? perhaps? I dont know. One thing we did see that it brought up while driving was a few errors IIRC were a couple of solenoid and speed detection. I might be wrong am going from memory a few days ago. I know I shoulda wrote em down lol.... Any gear box gurus out there ? Am sure it is electrical... well hope more like lol

That will then lead to Curiosity and we all know what happens there..... get a unit that comes apart the best thing to do in my opinion. or get a new alarm with proximity sensors.

wear and tear of the dash itself possibly due to the many years its contracted and shrunk in hot and cold weather, mine is the dash pod but will hopefully be changing soon so no need to tighten just yet :D

tps was changed by previous owner to rectify it (says it was not setup?) sorry what is "IIRC" ?

Eratic gearbox and some posts that I have read say that a possibility may be to use Conzult to check connections, I have gone over everything I can think of which leads me to think its electrical related. Basically changes gear perfect in Hold mode, but anything other and its a damn nasty kick. Correct me if I am wrong this is the info I have been reading here and elsewhere etc etc:dance:
