  1. you got any photos as was thinking of lime green respray when it comes around.
  2. Yeah the diagnostic bit I printed out said to get engine upto temp. So I went and put some fuel in it and then sat outside my house and done the diag.
  3. Ok left batter off for 4-5 hours to let all Ecu's reset and the only error's I get now are 6 - Overrun Clutch Solenoid is Short Circuited or Disconnected. 7 - Lock up solenoid is Short Circuited or Disconnected. p.s. AndyP sorry deleted your PM with ya number :P and fell asleep.... lol
  4. thats very kind of you Andy am gonna let it sit without a battery from now till about 4/5pm. as finished nice and early today :D should I bother with the diag or just hook it to your conZult?
  5. Thanks Andy :D will give it a go tomorrow when in from work
  6. 1st change is random on the rev counter so could be 3.5k or like today will change at 4.5k-5.5krpm and when driving in a normal 30 or 40mph limited road sounds like you screaming it lol and is very unsafe when going round bends.
  7. I only had the car like 2 months now and this is the 1st time i ran the diagnostic, how do you clear them?
  8. Thanks guys for the response on this one :D might have to leave it till in the army then I can send it to a garage to be sorted :(
  9. well this is the 2nd ECU for the auto box, but the ones listed above showed also when it was connected on ConZult. so that leave the wiring loom possibly as you said Legrath ?
  10. ok been out in the pouring rain checking connectors etc, ran a diagnostic on the box and came up with: 3 - Throttle Sensor Circuit is Short Circuited or Disconnected. 4 - Shift Solenoid A is Short Circuited or Disconnected. 6 - Overrun Clutch Solenoid is Short Circuited or Disconnected. 7 - Lock up solenoid is Short Circuited or Disconnected. 10 - line pressure solenoid is Short Circuited or Disconnected. this mean box is screwed ?
  11. Does this when driving also, think it could be the speed sensor when the TT clocks were put in as was mentioned by Topless also...
  12. ok 1 long flash then 16 short flashes after car starts, what is this? gotta be something to do with above post? perhaps?
  13. Okay got the NA autobox ecu today and tried it bearing in mind I had the item in this post: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=110479 so I fitted it and took for a spin, 1st thing I noticed was it would not change the 1st gear till around 4.5k - 5k rpm but felt alot more responsive... and would change normally after that. So I parked up and took the Auto Line Controller off and used the ECU sent, this felt like it was in hold mode all the time and would not accelerate very well at all. So for now I have put the Auto Line Controller back on as it seems to respond alot better apart from the 1st shift.... Also now when I start the car the Power Light flashes 16 times, I pressume this is an error code. Please advise my saviors lol....

  24. sorry its a N/A model 91 jap spec auto. might be worth me replacing the gearbox oil and trying that although its at the right level. I tried the autobox ecu on the N/A to see if there was any difference it was a 50/50 try wether it was compatible or not. Looking at an A/T control diagram it springs to mind what the errors were and I am sure they were; Shift solenoids A+B Speed sensor This all leads me to believe its the Auto Ecu :( Anyone got a spare N/A Autobox Ecu I could try ???
